Clinical Research About The Curative Effect Of Using "Mian Tan Qian Zheng Patch" To Treat Acute Facial Paralysis Obstructed By Wind-phlegm

Objective: Observe the curative effect of using �Mian Tan Qian Zheng patch� to treat acute facial paralysis obstructed by wind-phlegm.Provide a scientific basis for guide the clinical treatment of facial paralysis and development of hospital preparations.Methods: Using random number table method to let 72 patients with acute facial paralysis obstructed by wind-phlegm that Included in the standard were divided into Mian Tan Qian Zheng patch plus acupuncture group of 36 cases and routine acupuncture group of 36 cases.Observe the change of curative effect index depend on House-Brackmann grading scales,symptoms and signs of quantitative table,facial deformity index(FDI)before and after 14 days treatment.At last,Process and analysis observational indexes.Results:(1)Compare the score of two groups before and after treatment about House-Brackmann grading scales,symptoms and signs of quantitative table,facial deformity index(FDI).P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(2)Compare the score change of two groups before and after treatment about House-Brackmann grading scales,symptoms and signs of quantitative table,facial deformity index(FDI).P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.(3)The excellent rate of the treatment group is 35.3%,the effective rate is 64.7%.The excellent rate of the control group is 9.1%,the effective rate is 90.9%.The curative effect evaluation after treatment between the two groups is P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: This study showed that the clinical curative effect after using Mian Tan Qian Zheng patch plus acupuncture is better than using simple acupuncture for the patients with acute facial paralysis obstructed by wind-phlegm.There was a significant curative effect in terms of the change of facial nerve function for patients.The method of treatment group is better than the control group in terms of shortening treatment period of acute facial paralysis.
