Objective:To describe the attitude of the operation room nurses to report nursing adverse events in 3-grade general hospitals in Jilin Province and to explore its influencing factors.To improve the reporting nursing adverse events system in operation room and to provide basics theory for the safety process reengineering of surgical patients.Method:This is a descriptive design.During the September and the December of 2016,a multi-stage random sampling method was adopted to investigate 306 nurses of operation room in 3-grade general hospitals of Jilin province.The questionnaire was designed including the general information of the nurses,the Reporting of Clinical Adverse Events Scale,the Obstacle of Not Reporting Adverse Events,the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index.Results:1.The median of 306 surveyed operation room nurses' attitude to report adverse events is 68.00±7.2.2.The median of surveyed operation room nurses' Adverse Events Reporting Obstacle Scale is 39.59±10.81.3.The median of surveyed operation room nurses' Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index is 3084.9±786.9.4.Taking the surveyed nurses' attitude to report adverse events as study unit,the single factor analysis revealed that the surveyed nurses' age,working life,work characteristic,final degree,title and duty influence the attitude to report adverse events(P<0.05).5.Taking the surveyed nurses' attitude to report adverse events as study unit,the multiple linear regression revealed that the surveyed nurses' salary and status,education,working life,title,their recognition of traditional customs,influence theattitude to report adverse events(P<0.05).Conclusion:Operation room nurses have positive attitude to report nursing adverse events.Nurses' education,working life,title,their salary and status,their recognition of traditional customs,influence the attitude to report adverse events.Suggest the researchers later can explore how to positive nurses' attitude to report adverse events on the basis of the results of this study.
