Objective:To understand the present situation of clinical nurses' hospice care attitude in a 3 grade hospital from Xinjiang, and to explore the influence of hospital's demographic factors, death attitude, emotional intelligence and coping style on the hospice care attitude of clinical nurses in the hospital. To order to improve clinical nurses' hospice care attitude and to provide reference for clinical nurses' hospice care education in the future.Method:1.The self-made demographic data, hospice care attitude scale, death attitude scale, emotional intelligence scale and coping style scale were used to survey 595 clinical nurses in a 3 grade hospital from Xinjiang from March to May 2017.2.After the questionnaire was numbered, the database was established by using Epidata13.0 and analyzed by SPSS 19.0,the descriptive statistical analysis was used according to the data condition and test purpose of the research data, and the independent sample t-test was used.Single factor ANOVA Pearson correlation analysis and hierarchical stepwise regression analysis.Result:1.The total score of clinical nurses' attitude toward hospice care was(97.28±8.13)points,which was divided into(3.24±0.27).The attitude of the hospice patients was divided into(3.02±0.37),and the dimensions of the overall consciousness of hospice care were divided into(3.56±0.41);286(48.1%)were clinical nurses with positive attitude. There were 309(51.9%)nurses with neutral attitude and 0(0%)having clinical attitude towards negativity.2.FATCOD Scale Item score:the highest score of five items were all dimension II "item 20:families should create as normal an environment as possible for dying relatives." the highest score was(4.11±0.762);the five items with the lowest scores were the following:.Item 27 belongs to dimension I(attitude to care for dying patients,in which,Item 26:if I walk into a dying patient's room and see him/her crying,I will feel uncomfortable with the lowest score of(2.37±0.85).3.The emotional composition of clinical nurses is positively correlated with the total score of hospice care attitudes. The cognitive components are positively correlated with the total scores of end-of-life care attitudes, but the emotional components are negatively correlated with cognitive components.According to the consistency theory of attitude structure, there is an inconsistency between emotional and cognitive components of attitude, that is,“attitude imbalance"of clinical nurses' hospice care.4.The results of multi-factor regression analysis showed that there were significant differences(P<0.05)in clinical nurses' hospice care attitudes among different degree of education, professional titles, and departments, different ages, genders, marriages, religious beliefs, working years, nursing work attitudes, and deaths. The discussion atmosphere, hospice care experience and hospice education training did not enter the regression equation.5.After controlling general demographic variables, death evasion in death attitudes, and natural acceptance of clinical nurses' hospice care attitudes explained 7.6%of variance(P<0.001).Emotional intelligence in emotional use explained a total of 4.6%.The variance(P<0.001),the coping style positive response to the explanation of the 4.3%variation(P<0.001),and the death attitude, emotional intelligence, and coping style were the factors affecting the hospice care attitude.Conclusion:1.Clinical nurses have a neutral attitude towards hospice care,,so it is necessary to pay attention to clinical nurses' attitude of hospice care and improve the quality of hospice care.2.The attitude of clinical nurses towards hospice care tends to give the whole consciousness of hospice care, and the attitude towards the terminally ill patients is not positive, and the emotional component of hospice care is lower than that of the cognitive component, and there is a phenomenon of "attitude imbalance" in terminal care.Attention should be paid to the nursing attitude of clinical nurses and emotional expression of hospice care cognition.3.The higher the academic background, the higher the professional title, the higher the attitude of hospice care, the ICU nurses in the emergency department are significantly lower than the major internal medicine nurses, the clinical nurses of major surgery, can carry on the stratified training to the clinical nurses, raise the whole consciousness of hospice care.4.Death attitude, emotional intelligence and coping style are the influencing factors of clinical nurses' hospice care attitude. In the training and education of hospice care, the attitude towards death and the expression of emotional intelligence should be combined with the practice of nursing work. The use of coping styles to build a hospice education model in line with our native culture.
