| Objective:To achieve the aesthetic repair effect perfectly through the aesthetic analysis design to improve the width/length ratio.Methods:Six patients were selected from prosthodontic department of Dalian Stomatological hosptial since April 2014 to November 2016.they were asked to take aesthetic restoration of the anterior teeth due to the disproportionality of anterior teeth width/length ratio;including 3 males and 3 females,between the ages of 28?49.2 case of the original restoration of loose repair to the aesthetic repair.1 cases of biological restoration of the original biological destruction of the width of the bleeding caused by swelling of the gums to the aesthetic requirements of repair.1 case of anterior teeth defects caused by injury,1 case of anterior teeth dislocation to improve the appearance,1 case due to anterior teeth scattered in the gap required to close the gap.Communicate with the patients before treatment,indicating the cause of dentition defect,repair&treatment,restoration materials,repair process,cost and prognosis.The patients with high blood pressure,heart disease,diabetes and other systemic diseases,will affect the restoration&treatment,they should control the disease before the treatment.DSD software was used to analyze the treatment design and make the ideal width and length ratio of anterior teeth.The oral physician made a diagnostic wax-up based on the design.Then the expected aesthetic repair effect was showed to the patient.We should know the expectations of patients,assess the psychology of patients for the aesthetic requirements,and refer to the views of patients,to create a personalized aesthetic design.Dental pulp treatment and periodontal treatment should be finished before dental restoration.Patients with bad gum aesthetics must have crown lengthening.All patients should take oral health education after the crown lengthening.They should be repaired after 6-8 weeks without remove bone tissues.Those remove part of bone tissues should be repaired after 3-6 months.According to the situation of tooth defects,aesthetic design and the patients should afford and other specific circumstances to choose repair materials and methods.The patients should keep oral clean when they finish the treatment and told them how to use prosthetic.We evaluated the effect according to preoperative and postoperative pictures.The patients were advised to review after one month,to check the edge of the restoration,adjacency,local periodontal condition,color satisfaction and whether there are secondary caries and so on.Results:Six patients were observed and assessed by clinical observation and evaluation of application effect.All the patients were satisfied by improving the width/length ratio of the anterior teeth to reach the ideal aesthetic effect.Asked patients to review after one month.Just one patient did not review because of physical discomfort.In the rest of the 6 cases of referral,the patients were satisfied with the restoration of color,oral hygiene well maintained,close edge of restoration,healthy gums without swelling and bleeding,no discoloration of the adjacent edge&no occlusal discomfort.Conclusion:By improving the width/length ratio of anterior teeth,it can greatly improve the aesthetic restoration effect and using DSD aesthetic restoration design software for aesthetic restoration design of the alterior area,it could achieve a more efficient communication between doctors and patients as well as doctors and technicians. |
