Case Reports Of The Anterior Teeth Aesthetic Area Restoration

Objective: Many patients and dental practices pay more attention to the esthetic effect of anterior teeth restorations,especially those teeth needed to be restored again.The patients have more the demand for esthetics in the anterior teeth.The purposes of this study are to analyze the failure reasons of the anterior teeth restoration and evaluate the aesthetic factors of these restorations through clinical cases,and explore the standardized aesthetic treatment procedure.Method: 5 clinical cases of anterior teeth areas restorations were selected from June 2014 to May 2015 in the Department of Prosthodontics in the Dalian Stomatological Hospital.The failure reasons of the anterior teeth restoration included gingival bleeding,swelling,hyperplasia and bromopnea;the leakage and exposure of crown edges;ceramic collapse,endodontics of abutment teeth,color mismatching and poor shape of restorations.The main reasons for these problems are incomplete endodontic and periodontal treatment before the defect teeth need to be restored by the all-crown,occlusal problems of restorations,the mistakes of clinical operation,the defect of biological width,poor oral hygiene maintenance.These problems will eventually lead to the restoration dissatisfaction and failure.When those poor restorations need to be remove and restore again,the clinical procedure should ensure the stomatognathic system's function and health and esthetics of restorations.The guideline of the second restoration includes a comprehensive oral examination,analysis of the reasons for the former restoration failure and how to solve and avoid the problems.Additionally,aesthetic design and thoroughly endodontic and periodontal treatment should be carried out before the aesthetic restoration,make the diagnostic wax-up,reproduce diagnosis wax-up in the mouth.The patient can intuitively feel the expected repair effect.The communication between doctors and patients become more conveniently,and directly modify the diagnostic wax-up.If the doctors and patients are satisfied with the esthetic results,the silicon rubber plate can guide clinical tooth preparation.The accurate impression and a beautiful temporary restoration can protect the abutment teeth,maintain restoration space for the restorations and the occlusal relationship of patients.Not only the color of the restorations need to match with the adjacent nature teeth,but also should reproduce the individual stripes and pigment patches.Moreover,the clinician should pay more attention to occlusal function of restorations.The restoration completely obtain the function balance of occlusion.Results: The esthetic parameters of restorations were accorded with the physiological requirement of natural teeth.The patients were satisfied with the shape,function and color of the restoration.The function of the occlusion and the oral health situation should be attention by the dental practices to ensure a long-term satisfactory clinical effect during the clinical procedure and recalling.Conclusion: 1.Dental practices should completely analyze the failure reasons of patients' restoration.The use of diagnostic wax-up,diagnosis veneer,gingivoplasty and crown lengthening surgery.The standardized aesthetic treatment procedure can ensure the ultimate aesthetic results.2.Aesthetic restoration need to not only change the forms of periodontal and the morphology of the tooth,but also recover the function of those teeth.Clinician should pursuit the balance between beautiful and function of restorations.
