Clinical Observation Of Huayu Qushi Decoction In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis In Early Stage

Objective: To analyze and evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect of Huayu Qushi Decoction for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis in early stage(Early Knee Osteoarthritis,KOA).Methods: In accordance with the inclusion criteria of early outpatient department of orthopedics the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi College of traditional Chinese medicine for knee osteoarthritis 60 cases of patients,randomly divided into treatment group 30 cases and control group 30 cases,treatment group: control group =1:1.The treatment group was given Huayu Qushi Decoction orally,the control group was given Diacerein Capsules orally,the treatment for 12 weeks.The internationally accepted Lequesne index and visual analogue scale(VAS)were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy before and after treatment.Results: Lequesne index,Before and after treatment in the two groups,the treatment group: after 2 weeks: P=0.986>0.05,no statistical significance;4weeks later: P=0.023<0.05,there was statistical significance;after 12 weeks:P=0.000<0.01,there was statistical significance.Control group: 2 weeks later:P=0.212>0.05,no statistical significance;4 weeks later: P=0.013<0.05,there was statistical significance;after 12 weeks:P=0.000<0.01,there was statistical significance.Comparison between groups : 4 weeks later : P=0.924 > 0.05,no statistical significance;12weekslater:P=0.128>0.05,no statistical significance.treatment group total effective number of 28 cases,2 cases were invalid,the total effective rate was 93.33%,control group total effective number of 27 cases,3cases were invalid,the total effective rate was 90.00%,there was no significantdifference between the two groups in the improvement of knee joint function(P>0.05);VAS score,Before and after treatment in the two groupst,the treatment group: after 2 weeks: P=0.079>0.05,no statistical significance;4 weeks later: P=0.035<0.05,there is statistical significance;after 12 weeks,P=0.000 <0.01,there is statistical significance.Control group: 2 weeks later: P=0.12>0.05,no statistical significance;4 weeks later: P=0.029<0.05,there is statistical significance;after 12 weeks,P=0.000<0.01,there is statistical significance.Comparison between groups: 4 weeks later: P=0.434>0.05,no statistical significance;12weeks later: P=0.569>0.05,no statistical significance.treatment group the total effective number of 27 cases,3cases were invalid,the total effective rate was 90.00%,control group total effective number of 26 cases,4cases were invalid,the total effective rate was 86.67%,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the improvement of knee joint pain(P >0.05).Conclusion: Huayu Qushi Decoction on knee osteoarthritis early intervening treatment,can improve the motor function of patients with joints,relieve the symptoms of pain,compared with Diacerein Capsules,the treatment had no significant difference in curative effect.
