Objectives Through discussing the effect of continuing nursing on life quality of urinary tract ostomy patients and finding the defects and deficiencies of the health education during hospitalization, the theoretical basis and empirical reference will be provided for nursing staff to take improvement measures. Finally, this continuing nursing will be promoted, so as to improve and enhance patient self-care ability, self-efficacy, which will improve the quality of life of patients. Methods 124 Patients of department of urology of the first affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou university were randomly selected from September 2015 to November 2015 who were selected according to the criteria as study subjects. According to the sampling order number, the research objects were divided into 2 groups, the experimental group and the control group, and each group contained 62 people. Before patients discharging from the hospital, two groups of patients were assessed the ability of stoma care. According to the normal discharge procedures, the control group learned guidance. The patient information card were established of the intervention group, including general information of patients and patients with stoma condition, there is no complications, mental state, sleep, excretion and family support. The patients were given a discharge plan, and accepted the continuing nursing afterdischarge from hospital. The experimental group was intervened for a period of 3 months by telephone follow-up, outpatient follow-up, and network follow-up. Respectively, the intervention group were nursing intervention and data statistics at 2 weeks, 1 month, and 3 months. The patient's related information were statistical analyzed by the patient questionnaire, stoma related, and the patient's self-care ability, self-efficacy and patients living quality state were evaluated by urinary stoma self-care ability scale(the urostomy education scale finished), chronic disease self-efficacy scale(Self-efficacy of chronic disease), the World Health Organization Quality of life scale for(the WHO quality of life-100. WHOQOL-100). Through establish a investigate data database, the result of continuing nursing were analyzed by SPSS19.0, so as to analyze the effect of continuing nursing on patients life by(s)statistical analysis and independent samples t test.Results(1) There were no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.5).(2) At different time, the self-nursing ability score was statistically significant. When F??(P) is 3055.4(<0.001), the score of self-care ability of the two groups urinary stoma patients increased by time-varying. The self-nursing ability score of different groups has statistical significance, F??(P) was 60.0(<0.001), the self-nursing ability score of intervention group is higher than that of the control group; there is interaction between time and group, F??(P) is 80.0( < 0.001).(3) At different time, the self-efficacy score was statistically significant. When F??(P) is 2687.6(<0.001), the self-efficacy score of the two groups urinary stoma patients increased with time-varying. The self-efficacy score of different groups has statistical significance, F? ?(P) was 83.5(<0.001), the self-efficacy score of intervention group is higher than that of the control group; there is interaction between time and group, F??(P) is 81.0( < 0.001).(4) At different time, the six dimension score, such as physical function, psychological state, the doctor-patient relationship, independence, social relationship and personal belief, and life quality score have significant differences. The two groups of patients with each dimension score and quality of life score has increasedwith time-varying. Compared with control group, the remaining five dimensions except for doctor-patient relationship and quality of life score was statistically significant, and the life quality of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group. Conclusions Carrying out the continue nursing in urinary tract ostomy patients systematically and effectively after discharge significantly could improve their self-care ability, the level of self-efficacy, reduce the incidence of stoma complications of patients after discharge, and enhance their self-confidence, so as to improve thepatientsquality of life.
