At present, some Cremastra appendiculata's effective constituents and bioactivity studies have been reported, but the biological activity of Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide almost has no reports. So the special study about antioxidant and hypolipidemic effects of Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide in order to provide the research basis for the development and application of the Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide.1) Antioxidation research of Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide.80 SPF Kunming mice(20-22g) were randomly divided into blank control group (K, filling saline), Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide of low, middle and high dose group (CAP-L, CAP-M, CAP-H were given gastric CAP 400,600,800mg/kg ·bw/d) and positive control group (Y, filling the stomach VC of 1g/kg·bw/d) 5 groups. After 22 days of continuous irrigation, T-AOC, CAT, SOD, MDA and GSH-PX in serum, liver and kidney were measured. The results showed that compared with the blank control group, Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide in each dose group can significantly increased in serum, liver and kidney of GSH-Px, SOD, CAT activity (P< 0.01) and T-AOC, decreased significantly in serum, liver and kidney MDA levels (P< 0.01). The results showed that, Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide has a significant antioxidant effect.2) Study on Hypolipidemic Effects of Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide.70 SPF Kunming mice(20-22g) were randomly divided into blank control group (K, filling stomach with normal saline), model group (M,filling saline) and Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide with low, middle and high dose group (CAP-L, CAP-M, CAP-H were given gastric CAP 500,700,900mg/kg·bw/d) 5 groups, except the blank control group was fed with the full price of feed, other groups were fed high fat feed.After 4 weeks, the levels of TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,ALP,ALT,AST,LDH,UREA,UA,TBil,DBil,CREA,Glu,inseruma and he levels of TC,TG,SOD and MDA in liver were measured.The results showed that the contents of TC and TG in serum and liver of mice in high fat model group were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.01), and the model was successful.Compared with the model group, mountain arrowhead polysaccharide with different dose group can significantly reduce the serum TG, TC and LDL-C levels (P< 0.01), significantly increased the content of HDL-C (P< 0.01). The results show that:Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide has significant lipid-lowering effect.3)The protective effect of Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide on high fat mice liver.Compared with the model group compared Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide with different dose group can significantly reduce serum ALP,ALT, AST, LDH activity (P< 0.01) and TBil and DBil content (P< 0.01); and decreased liver TG, TC, MDA content (P< 0.01), and increased the activity of SOD (P< 0.01), indicating that Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide can significantly reduce fat state to cause liver damage and liver of high fat animal has obvious protective effect.4)The protective effect of Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide on high fat mice kidney. Compared with the model group compared Iphigenia polysaccharide with different dose group can significantly increase serum urea content (P< 0.01), significantly reducing UA and crea content (P< 0.01), results suggest that Cremastra appendiculata polysaccharide can decrease the high fat induced renal damage degree, has certain protection on the kidney.
