| Objective:Observe the change of sex hormone (FSH?LH?T) level in SD male rats with hypothyroidism, investigate whether there is a certain correlation between hypothyroidism and sexual hormone, Prevention and treatment and observation of Wenshenbuxu Decoction on hypothyroid male SD rats of thyroid hormone, sex hormone level change.Methods:50 7weeks SD male rats were fed for 1 week,drinking water every day to feed containing 0.05% propylthiouracil,4 weeks of continuous modeling,to make thyroid dysfunction model.After successful modeling of 50 rats were randomly divided into low dosage of wenshenbuxu (low) group, middle dosage of wenshenbuxu (middle) group, high dose of wenshenbuxu group (high) control group, western medicine group, model group with 10 rats in each.Another 10 rats with same month SD male rats in the normal group, a total of 6 groups.Respectively, To give the corresponding drug intervention, the cycle is 28 days.During the experiment, the general situation, the amount of drinking water, food intake, rectal temperature, body weight and temperament of rats in each group were observed.After treatment, the serum levels of LH, T3, T4, FSH, T and TSH were detected in all groups, and the pathological changes of testis tissue were observed.Results:Compared with the normal group, the serum TSH of model group was significantly increased(P< 0.01),Serum T4 and T3 were significantly decreased(P< 0.01),Serum FSH and T were significantly decreased (P< 0.01),Pathological changes of testicular tissue in typical secondary sperm mother cells and immature cells in the testis.After treatment, Wenshenbuxu Decoction of each dose group can be in a certain extent recovery and improve the general physiological state of hypothyroidism rats and restore to normal growth;And to a certain extent, it can decrease the serum TSH and increase the serum T4 and T3;Elevated serum levels of FSH and T;Improve the pathological damage of testis.Conclusion:Hypothyroidism rats is associated with a marked reduction in sex hormone levels, with the decrease of the level of thyroid hormone, sex hormones also decreased, both of which have obvious correlation. Wenshenbuxu Decoction can significantly improve the hypothyroid animals of the thyroid hormone level and sex hormone level and its mechanism of action may and traditional Chinese medicine from the overall regulation, multi-directional, multi target improvement of thyroid function, and regulation of sexual hormones levels. |
