Observation And Efficacy Of Acupuncture Combined With Tianma Gouteng Drink In Treating Cervical Vertigo

Purpose:To explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Tianma Gouteng drink modified in treating cervical vertigo.Method:60 patients met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into acupuncture combined oral medicine group and western medicine group,30 cases in each group. Patients in western medicine group were treated with oral rehydration betahistine and vinpocetine, while the others were treated with points of the neck combined with dialectical modified Tianma Gouteng drink. We compared the clinical symptoms, functional assessment score and TCD before and after the treatment, and analyzed the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Tianma Gouteng drink modified in cervical vertigo.Results:the clinical curative effect:acupuncture combined with Chinese traditional medicine group total effectiveness is superior to western medicine group. Cervical vertigo symptom and function assessment scale:the two groups after treatment scores were significantly higher than that of before treatment, the score difference before and after the treatment of acupuncture combined with Chinese traditional medicine group was obviously higher than that of western medicine group. Cone-plate basal arterial blood flow dynamic changes:the two groups after treatment of bilateral vertebral artery (VA) and basilar artery (BA) systolic peak velocity (Vs) were obviously improved compared with before treatment, acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine treatment group is superior to western medicine control group.Conclusion:1. Acupuncture combined with Chinese traditional medicine Tianma Gouteng drink in improving clinical symptoms of patients with cervical vertigo effect is remarkable.2. Acupuncture combined with Chinese traditional medicine Tianma Gouteng drink mechanism may be related to improvement of vertebral-basilar artery blood flow, relieve local muscle spasms, inflammatory reaction.3. Acupuncture combined with Chinese traditional medicine Tianma Gouteng drink to add and subtract the effect of the superposition of the two kinds of traditional Chinese medicine therapy, not only has better clinical curative effect, but also has a unique advantage in simplicity, safety, stability, and helps to improve the quality of patients' daily life. It is the optimum combination of TCM treatment, worth clinical promotion as patients' compliance is also good.
