Observation On The Clinical Efficacy Of Ear Acupoint Pressing Combined With Tianma Gouteng Decoction In The Treatment Of Hypertension

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to observe the therapeutic effects of Auricular plaster therapy combined with Tianma Gouteng Yin Decoction in the treatment of grade 1hypertension and to clarify its clinical efficacy.In order to to provide an effective theoretical basis for the treatment of clinical hypertension with TCM comprehensive therapy,but also lay the foundation for the future study of hypertension.Material and method:This study was conducted from January 2018 to January 2019 in patients who went to cardiology and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation outpatient clinic or hospitalized in Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,diagnosed of stage 1 hypertension,the number was 173.173 patients were randomly divided into four group: foundation group,basic treatment group,head massage group,auricular acupoint treatment group.Name the four groups A,B,C and D.Assess baseline evaluation of each group.After evaluation,each group was accepted treatment.Group A was given lifestyle education,salt restriction diet and exercise therapy.Group B was treated with lifestyle education,salt restriction diet,exercise therapy and Tianma Gouteng decoction.Group C was treated with lifestyle education,salt restriction diet,exercise therapy,Tianma Gouteng Decoction and auricular acupoint sticking therapy.Group D was treated with lifestyle education,salt restriction diet,exercise therapy,Tianma Gouteng Decoction and head massage therapy.All the above groups were treated for4 weeks.Blood pressure was evaluated at 0,2 and 4 weeks after treatment.The 24-hour mean systolic blood pressure,24-hour mean diastolic blood pressure,day mean systolic blood pressure,day mean diastolic blood pressure,night mean systolic blood pressure and night mean diastolic blood pressure were evaluated in each group.The effectiveness of hypertension reduction in each group was calculated.The improvement of symptom score and quality of life score were evaluated at 0 and 4 weeks respectively.Results:1.The mean systolic blood pressure(SBP)of 24 hours,day and night in the auricular acupoint treatment group was lower than that of the other three groups at 4 weeks,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In the auricular acupoint treatment group,the average systolic pressure at 24 hours,the average diastolic pressure at 24 hours,the average day systolic pressure,the average day diastolic pressure,the average night systolic pressure and the average night diastolic pressure were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There was significant difference in the effective rate of blood pressure reduction among the four groups(P < 0.05).The order of the effective rate of blood pressure reduction from high to low was auricular point treatment group,head massage treatment group,basic treatment group and treatment group.4.There was significant difference in the efficacy of TCM symptoms among the four groups(P < 0.05).The order of the efficacy of TCM symptoms from high to low was ear point treatment group,Head massage treatment group,basic treatment group and treatment group.5.The score of SF-36 quality of life scale in auricular acupoint treatment group was improved compared with that before treatment.In the three dimensions of emotional function(RE),social function(SF),general health status(GH),the acupoint treatment group was superior to other groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Auricular acupoint sticking combined with Tianma Gouteng Decoction can effectively reduce blood pressure.The curative effect is better than that of Tianma Gouteng Decoction alone,and better than that of head massage combined with Tianma Gouteng Decoction.2.Auricular point sticking combined with Tianma Gouteng Yin can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of hypertension.3.Auricular acupoint sticking combined with Tianma Gouteng Yin was superior to other treatment groups in three dimensions of emotional function(RE),social function(SF),general health status(GH),suggesting that TCM comprehensive therapy has advantages in improving the quality of life.
