Background:With the development of medical treatment and longevity of human life, life quality evaluation has become a hot field of research around world. College faculty is the soul of colleges and universities. They are the main part to assure the healthy and rapid development of national education, and the successor of human science culture with the earthshaking social responsibility. So, the quality of their work is directly related to the various colleges and universities and the national survival and development in the future. As a result, their health is a key factor that related to the teaching level and quality, and also indirectly affect national working in the education of man, so the study of the physical health of the college teachers is very important.Objective:The participation of this study were from a medical colleges and universities teachers. In order to improve the university teachers' health consciousness and improve the body health, the physical examination results of the group was analyzed.Methods:The physical health of 712 people of this study were examined, and the examination involves body mass index, function index, biochemical indicators(including height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood fat, fat liver etc). The data analysis used SPSS 17.0 statistical software and university analysis by x2 test, variance analysis and independent sample using t test.Results:1. The medical colleges and universities teacher's incidence of obesity, low weight and overweight was discussed in this study. The results showed that, among the 712 people, the incidence of low eight was 0.62% for men and 9% for women, the incidence of overweight was 38.39% for men and 20.31% for women; the incidence of obesity was 19.2% for men and 4.37% for women. The result found out that there was obvious significance between men and women in low weight and overweight(p<0.05), but there was no obvious significance in obesity(p>0.05).2. The medical colleges and universities teacher's incidence of hypertension was also studied. The hypertension incidence for mild, moderate and severe was 11.15%, 5.88% and 0.31% for men, 4.63%, 1.03% and 0.77% for women. The results also showed that there was obvious significance(p<0.05) between men and women in moderate hypertension, but there was no obvious significance in mild and severe hypertension(p>0.05).3. The results showed that there were 6 people had hyperglycemia among the 712 tested people. The hyperglycemia incidence was 0.93% for men and 0.77% for women. There was no obvious significance between men and women in hyperglycemia(p>0.05).4. There were 246 people had dyslipidemia among the 712 people in this study. The dyslipidemia incidence was 42.72% for men and 27.76% for women. There was obvious significance between men and women in dyslipidemia(p<0.05).5. The incidence of fatty liver was also studied and it was 2.17% for men and 23.65% for women. The results showed that there was no obvious significance between men and women in fatty liver(p<0.05).6. The mammary glands hyperplasia was study for women. There were 166 people had mammary glands hyperplasia, and the incidence was 42.67%. The mammary glands hyperplasia patients were mainly found in 30-39 age group(80%),in 20-29 age group(48.67%).Conclusion:1. In the inspection of 712 college staff, the highest abnormal rate is weight, which is 44.8%, and the lowest is blood glucose with 0.84% abnormal rate. The abnormal rate of the six items is weight, hyperplasia of mammary glands, blood fat, fat liver, blood pressure and blood glucose from high to low.2. In the inspection of 712 college staff, weight anomalies mainly occurred in 20 to 59 age stage, dysarteriotony mainly in 50-69 age stage, pathoglycemia mainly in 50 and 70 ages group, dyslipidemia mainly in 40 to 59 age stage, fatty liver mainly in 30 to 49 age stage, hyperplasia of mammary gland mainly in 20 to 39 age group.3. In the inspection of 712 college staff, the male teachers' weight anomalies, dysarteriotony, pathoglycemia and dyslipidemia rate higher than that of female teachers', while male teachers' fatty liver detection rate is lower than the female.4. In 389 female faculty, there are 166 hyperplasia of mammary glands patients and the incidence was 42.67%. The hyperplasia of mammary glands mainly in 30-39 age stage, and the second is 29 age stage.The above results suggest university female teacher should keep a good pace of life, reduce the psychological and mental stress, regulate the body's endocrine disorders.
