The Clinical Observation Of Body Spasm After Stroke Applying The Therapy Of Combination Acupuncture With Pricking And Cupping

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of body spasm after stroke(qi deficiency and blood stasis type) applying the therapy of combination acupuncture with pricking and cupping,and optimize the plan of using acupuncture mechaism.Methods:The 60 cases of body spasm after stroke of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping therapy, the control group was treated with ordinary acupuncture.By observing the differences of brunnstrom lassification and clinical spasm index(CSI) score in before and after of treatment,to compare the total effective rate and the improvement of body spasm.Results:The total efficiency of treatment group was 96.67%, control group was 73.33%,the clinical efficacy of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were statistically significant in the group about the Brunnstrom classification and clinical spasm index(CSI)after treatment(P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences between the two groups about the Brunnstrom and clinical spasm index(CSI) after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping and ordinary acupuncture both can improve body spasm after stroke(qi deficiency and blood stasis type),but the former is more significant.
