Effect Of Pricking Blood With Cupping Therapy Combined With Rehabilitation Training On The Spasticity Of The Upper Limb In Patients With Stroke

Objective:Through the spasticity of the upper limb in patients with stroke using pricking blood with cupping therapy method combined with rehabilitation training,To observe the feasibility and validity of the treatment.Looking for more effective and convenient treatment programs provide basis in clinical.Method:60patients were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group and control group.There were30patients in each group.Treatment group and control group were chosen the midpoints of bicipital muscle of arm. The Patients in the treatment group were treated by pricking blood with cupping therapy method,and the patients in the control group were treated by taking drug of baclofen, while both of them were treated by rehabilitation training.All patients were assessed before and after treatment period.The evaluating items ineluded:(1)modified Ashworth scale for the level of the convulsion of the upper limb;(2)Fugl-Meyer(FMA) assessment scale for the motor function of the upper limb;(3)surface electromyography record the integrated electromyogram(IEMG).Result:(1) There were no statistic difference between the before and immediate treating of Ashworth scale on the two groups (P>0.05). There were no statistic difference between the two groups in immediate treating of Ashworth scale (P>0.05). There were statistic difference between the before and four weeks treating of Ashworth scale on the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistic difference between the two groups in four weeks treating of Ashworth scale(P<0.05).(2)There were no statistic difference between the before and immediate treating of FMA scale on the two groups (P>0.05). There were no statistic difference between the two groups in immediate treating of FMA scale (P>0.05). There were statistic difference between the before and four weeks treating of FMA scale on the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistic difference between the two groups in four weeks treating of FMA scale (P<0.05).(3)There were statistic difference between the before and immediate treating of IEMG scale of musculus biceps brachii on the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistic difference between the two groups in immediate treating of IEMG scale of musculus biceps brachii (P<0.05). There were statistic difference between the before and four weeks treating of IEMG scale of musculus biceps brachii on the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistic difference between the two groups in four weeks treating of IEMG scale of musculus triceps brachii (P<0.05)Conclusion:(1)The pricking blood with cupping therapy combined with rehabilitation training and the taking drug of baclofen therapy combined with rehabilitation training both can relieve the spasticity of the upper limb,improve the motor function of upper limb.(2) The pricking blood with cupping therapy combined with rehabilitation training is better than the taking drug of baclofen therapy combined with rehabilitation training on relieving the spasticity of the upper limb,improving the motor function of upper limb.
