Clinical Observation Of Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Combined With Pricking And Cupping For Treatment Of Post-stroke Shoulder-hand Syndrome At Stage Ⅰ

Objective(1)Its purpose is to observe the clinical effect of the combination of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture and pricking and cupping therapy on patients with post-stroke shoulderhand syndrome at stage I.(2)To evaluate the efficacy of this treatment program in relieving pain and edema,restoring shoulder joint mobility and daily living ability of patients with stage I shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke.Method It is a randomized controlled clinical trial.From June,2019 to December,2020,60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the outpatient department of acupuncture department and ward 13 of acupuncture clinical department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.Each group has 30 patients.On the basis of the symptomatic treatment of conventional diseases in Western medicine,the patients in the control group were treated with conventional acupuncture combined with collateral-pricking cupping therapy,while the patients in the treatment group were treated with "Xingnao Kaiqiao" acupuncture combined with collateralpricking cupping therapy created by Academician Shi Xuemin.Two groups of patients received acupuncture once a day,6 times a week;Collateral prick cupping treatment every other day,3 times a week,patients could have a rest on sunday.After four weeks of continuous treatment in both groups,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA),Barthel Index(BI index)and palm swelling degree of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and SPSS 21.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results 1.By comparing the baseline and clinical observation indexes of the two groups before treatment,it was found that there was no significant difference(P>0.05),and it was comparable.2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the VAS score and palmar edema degree of patients in Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping treatment group and routine acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping control group were significantly decreased,while the FMA score and BI index score were significantly increased,with significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).3.After 4 weeks of treatment,the VAS score,FMA score,BI index score and palm edema degree of the treatment group combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture and pricking and cupping were compared with those of the control group combined with conventional acupuncture and pricking and cupping,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).4.Comparing the total effective rate of clinical efficacy between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.No serious adverse reactions occurred in the enrolled patients during the trial,and no cases fell off due to serious adverse reactions.Conclusions 1.Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping and conventional acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping are effective and safe in treating patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome stage I.2.Comparing the two groups after treatment,it is found that Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping group can more effectively relieve the pain of affected limbs,restore the motor function of upper limbs,restore the ability of daily living and reduce the degree of edema,thus improving the quality of life of patients.
