Clinical Observation Of Tuina And Acupotomy In Treating The Third Lumbar Transverse Process Syndrome

Objective:This topic observe the clinical effect about the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome by using tuina with acupotomy,and compared with simple tuina therapy.Comparative analysis of the different roles in symptoms and signs before and after the treatment of the two therapies.Then,we can evaluate confirmly the effectiveness of the treatment of the disease which used tuina and acupotomy,explore the mechanism,and provide valuable data for further basic and clinical research.Methods:By adopting the random, controlled method of design, we divided the 60 patients of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome who meet the standards to tuina with acupotomy group(treatment group) and the simple tuina group(control group), 30 cases in each group. The patients in the treatment group have 5 consecutive tuina treatments,once a day,and sixth day have 1 acuotomy, then a rest of two days.This is a course of treatment. Patients in the control group have 6 consecutive tuina treatments,onec a day,then a rest of two days.This is a course of treatment.After 2 courses of treatment,recording and observing the changes between the two groups’ scores of symptoms and signs,in order to evaluate the clinical comprehensive therapeutic effect.Results:1.Through statistical calculation, we know the total effective rate of treatment group is 93.33%, and the total efficiency of control group is 76.67%. Comparing the two groups, after statistics processing(P<0.05), there is a significant difference, and the treatment group is better than the control group. 2.After treatment, the clinical symptoms and signs of two groups are eased and reduce. Through statistical analysis, the JOA score and the McGill integral before and after treatment in two groups have a significant difference(P<0.05), and the treatment group is better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Tuina for the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome has a better clinical effect, meanwhile with the acupotomy have a better and faster effect. And the operation of acupotomy is convenient, the patient is easy to accept. Therefore, the treatment of this disease by using tuina with acupotomy is worthy to further spread in clinic.
