Clinical Observation About Baowen Acupuncture With Juantong Dingfeng Decoction On Treating Acute Gouty Arthritis Of Dampness-Heat Accumulation Pattern

Objective:Validating the effectiveness of the Baowen Acupuncture with Juantong Dingfeng Decoction on treating Acute Gouty Arthritis of Dampness-heat Accumulation Pattern, to provide clinical basis for the classification and treatment of Acute Gouty Arthritis.Methods:Grouping:a total of 90 patients with were selected Acute Gouty Arthritis of Dampness-heat Accumulation Pattern, and randomly divided into three groups:acupuncture combined with medicine group, Baowen Acupuncture group and ARCOXIA (Etoricoxib Tablets) group,30 cases in each group.Treatment:The acupuncture combined with medicine group was treated by Baowen Acupuncture combined with Juantong Dingfeng Decoction, namely at the part of lesion site treated by bloodletting with scattered acupuncture once every other day, at the same time cooperating with homemade Juantong Dingfeng Decoction, one dose per day, oraled respectively in the morning and evening. The Baowen Acupuncture group was only treated by Baowen Acupuncture bloodletting therapy.The ARCOXIA group was treated by ARCOXIA,120mg qdpo.All groups were treated for 7 days. Statistical methods:using SPSS 19.0 software for statistical analysis.Results:(1) Clinical curative effect comparison:Acupuncture combined with medicine group clinical recovery in 5 cases, cure rate was 16.7%, total effective 29 cases,1 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 96.7%; Baowen Acupuncture group clinical recovery 0 cases, total effective 22 cases,8 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 73.3%; ARCOXIA group clinical recovery 0 cases, total effective 23 cases,7 cases had no effect, the total effective rate was 76.7%. Statistical analysis showed that the clinical curative effect of acupuncture combined with medicine group was obviously better than Baowen Acupuncture group and ARCOXIA group (P< 0.05)(2) Comparing Sanguis Uric Acid (SUA):Before and after treatment of three groups, SUA of acupuncture combined with medicine group lowered significantly, with statistical difference (P<0.05), Baowen Acupuncture group and ARCOXIA group before and after treatment was not statistically significant(3) Comparing C-Reactive Protein (CRP):three groups after treatment significantly lowered CRP, with statistical difference (P<0.05).The reduction of acupuncture combined with medicine group, s CRP after treatment was more significant, with statistical difference (P<0.05)(4) Comparing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome scale score:The score of TCM scale lowered significantly after treatment, with statistical difference (P<0.05), Baowen Acupuncture group and ARCOXIA group had no significant difference (P> 0.05)(5) Comparing VAS scale score:Three groups after treatment significantly lowered VAS scale score, with statistical difference (P< 0.05).The reduction of acupuncture combined with medicine group, s VAS score after treatment was more significant, with statistical difference (P< 0.05).Conclusion:Baowen Acupuncture combined with Juantong Dingfeng Decoction on treating Acute Gouty Arthritis of Dampness-heat Accumulation Pattern was effective treatment. Baowen Acupuncture combined with Juantong Dingfeng Decoction could obviously improve the clinical symptoms, reduce TCM scale and VAS scale score, it, s curative effect was superior to Baowen Acupuncture group and ARCOXIA group.
