Objective:Observing the clinical effect of colitis suppositories on curing the qi deficiency and blood stasis in ulcerative colitis in rectal.Method:60 patients that conformed to the case including criteria were randomly divided into two groups and each of it had 30 cases. One was test group treated with colitis suppositories. The other one was control group treated with mesalazine suppositories. We assessed the clinical symptoms and signs of both groups before and after treatment.Results:Clinical research showed that two sets of patients were similar on integral cue effect, curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine clinical symptoms, main single symptom(pus and blood stools, abdominal pain), improved Mayo scoring, Baron Endoscope grading, however, the team treated with colitis suppositories had advantages in improving curing effect of diarrhea symptoms over its counterpart.Conclusions:Treating the qi deficiency and blood stasis in ulcerative colitis in rectal via colitis suppositories had remarkable clinical effect, especially in improving the curative effect of diarrhea symptoms.And this method has no apparent side effects.
