The Clinical Observation On Treating Dry Eye Of Liver Blood Deficiency With Mingmusiwu Decoction Combined With Acupuncture Treatment

Objective : In daily life and work,with the widespread of computerand mobile phone,people use eyes with unhealthy stytle, A phenomenon, more and more younger people with dry eye syndrome is obvious.dry eye has become one of the most common surface disease in department of ophthalmology. Traditional Chinese Medicine treatdry eyehas a long historical standing and has achieved good curative effection. This study is to observe the effect ofMingmusiwu Decoction combined with acupuncture on dry eye of liver blood deficiencytype.Methods : The cases of the clinical study, from the outpatient department of Ophthalmology of Hospital of Datong Mining area of traditional Chinese medicine, from June 1, 2015 to December 30, 2015,a total of 48 cases(96 eyes), 4 cases were excluded, 3cases of loss, and randomly divided intoexperimental group and control group.The experimental group was given acupuncture intervention combined with Mingmu decoction,1 time / day, 6 times per week for 4 weeks. The control group intervene with Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops, 4 times / day, 1 drop / times, 4 weeks of treatment.At first,observe and record the two groups of patients' dry eye questionnaire score, clinical symptoms score,Schirmer test(SIT), tear break-up time(BUT) and corneal fluorescence staining(FL)before and after treatment, and then compared with the two groups after treatment.At last withSPSS20.0to statistically analyze date and observe the test results with appropriate method.Results :Before the treatment there was not statistical difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, duration and observation targets of of patients(P>0.05).So the two groups were comparable.For experimental group before and after treatment,the result for the score of dry eye questionnaire, clinical symptoms score, Schirmer test(SIT), and corneal fluorescence staining(FL) have significant differences.But the result for tear break-up time(BUT)didn't have obvious change.For the control group after treatment,the statistical examination in dry eye questionnaire, corneal fluorescence staining(FL) and Schirmer test(SIT)(P<0.01)havesignificant differences, clinical symptoms score(P<0.05) have statistically difference.But the result for tear break-up time(BUT)(P>0.05) didn't have statistically significant.After treatment,The two groups have statistically difference in dry eye questionnaire score, clinical symptoms score, Schirmer test(SIT) and corneal fluorescence staining(FL)(P<0.05).There wasn't difference in terms of tear break-up time(BUT)(P>0.05).The total efficiency of experimental group was 91.67%,which was significantly higher thanthe total efficiency of control group thatis75%.Conclusion:Mingmusiwu Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of liver blood deficiency syndrome have great effect. Through Mingmusiwu Decoction and eye acupoints with distal acupoints can effectively relieve eye symptoms, reduce the liver blood deficiency symptoms, promote tear secretion and prolongtear break-up time.From the dry eye questionnaire score, the total efficiency of treatment group was significantly higher than the control group in the total efficiency, relieve eye symptoms,Mingmusiwu Decoction combined with acupuncture curative effect is better than Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops.
