1 Literature researchPurpose:Through the study of ancient literatures, relevant literatures of allergic conjunctivitis were screened, and the etiology, pathogenesis and medication rules of allergic conjunctivitis were analyzed by data mining method,so as to summarize the characteristics of ancient doctors'treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and provide theoretical basis for clinical treatment of this disease. Methods:By searching and inquiring the relevant books and documents, the search terms were determined. The Chinese Medical Code was used as the retrieval tool to search the literature related to itching in the ancient books of TCM.Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the literature related to allergic conjunctivitis was screened and the database was established.Using Excel tables and SPSS system, the application of traditional Chinese medicine in allergic conj unctivitis was analyzed by frequency analysis, correlation analysis and cluster analysis.Result:In this study,108 Chinese herbal medicines were collected and used 345 times.Ancient doctors mostly used warm and cold drugs to treat allergic conjunctivitis, less cold drugs and almost no heat drugs;the taste of drugs was mainly bitter, bitter and sweet;the meridians were mainly lung, liver and spleen meridians. From the perspective of drug efficacy, the most commonly used drugs are antipyretics, antipyretics and tonifying deficiency drugs, followed by diuresis and dampness drugs,blood-activating and stasis-removing drugs,phlegm-resolving cough and Asthma-relieving drugs and Qi-regulating drugs.According to the results of correlation analysis and cluster analysis, the traditional Chinese medicines such as Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Mint,Schizonepetae,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Qianghuo,Fangfeng and Licorice are commonly used in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis by ancient physicians.Conciusion:Ancient physicians treated eye itching by dispelling wind, clearing heat, activating blood circulation and stopping itching as the basic treatment methods.According to the time of onset and the difference of concurrent symptoms, supplemented by methods of regulating qi and removing dampness.2 Clinical researchPurpose:Based on the previous literature research results and Professor Gao Weiping's clinical experience, this study formulated the basic prescription for allergic conjunctivitis, carried out preliminary clinical research, and evaluated the clinical efficacy of this prescription in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis. Methods:Patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group when they visited the eye clinic of jiangsu provincial hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2017 to November 2018.Both groups were treated with emesteine fumarate eye drops, and the observation group was treated with the basic prescription of Chinese medicine.Patients in both groups were asked about their conscious symptoms and observed eye signs before and 2 weeks after treatment, and the data were recorded in the form of a score table. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using SPSS 19.0 software.Result:After treatment, the improvement of symptoms and signs between the two groups had statistical difference(P<0.05).The improvement of symptoms and signs in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.7%,which was higher than 93.3%of the control group(P<0.05).Conciusion:The traditional Chinese medicine prescription based on literature research can effectively improve the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, and the effect is better than the control group.
