Western medicine drug therapy is still the main treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, but the effect is not satisfied, and side-effects cannot be avoided.Chinese acupuncture treatment, because of its outstanding advantages, has been more and more popular for allergic conjunctivitis.PurposeUsing the Meta analysis to carry out the systematic, quantative and comprehensive analysis of several independent researches of the project of the acupuncture in treatment for allergic conjunctivitis, which would prvide the objective comfirmation evidence for the treatment for allergic conjunctivitis, to guide the clinical decision-making and inprove the medical quality.MethodsAfter the artifieial filter and data acquisition, according to the Jadad scoring scale, we carried out the quality accessments of the literatures, and Finally use the RevMan software to carry out analysis to the data.Results1. After checking out the related paper12, after full text reading manual screen, remove duplicate documents, review the literature and other literature, after excluding the remaining5articles, while all the documents are of low quality.2. Because the two articles in English literature in Chinese distribution, effect could not provide the original data to statistics, the statistics of the literature of the remaining3article and Meta analysis, the overall results indicate significant efficiency difference of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and the control group with statistical significance.3. The research into the control group therapy are using evidence-based medicine has proved that the basis of effective therapy, so the analysis results support the acupuncture therapy for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis is worth advocating, but all the literature for low quality documents, the result credibility is not high.ConclusionAcupuncture therapy is an effective treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, while existing literature research data quality is low, so that the reliability is not high, but the existing evidence that acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of allergic conjunctivitis has obvious curative effect, is worth promoting.
