Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Modified Qingzhong Decoction Combined With Olopatadine Eye Drops In Treating Allergic Conjunctivitis Of Dampness-heat With Wind

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of modified Qingzhong Decoction combined with Olopatadine eye drops in treating allergic conjunctivitis of dampness-heat with wind.MethodsTwo hundred and seventy patients（540 eyes）with allergic conjunctivitis were randomly divided into two group,singulars were classifiled as the treatment group with 135 cases（270 eyes）and even numbers were classifiled as the control group with 135 cases（270 eyes）.The treatment group were administrated by modifided Qingzhong Decoction combined with Olopatadine eye drops.The modified Qingzhong Decoction were provided by the pharmacy of Xiamen Hospital of TCM.They were taken orally twice a day,and one package with 150ml,4 weeks as one course.At the same time,Olopatadine eye drops were given one drop,twice a day,4 weeks as one course.The control group was treated with Olopatadine eye drops.Two groups had an evaluation respectively before and after one course of treatment,score the symptoms and signs of TCM of the two groups respectively according to the Chinese medicine new medicine clinical research guiding principles.Evaluated conjunctival congestion（redness scan,R-scan）and conjunctival papilla by German Oculus Keratograph.Satistical software SPSS 20.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results（1）The study included 270 patients（540 eyes）,6 cases were shed,and the shedding rate was 2.2%;（2）There was no statistical difference in the collecting 264 cases（528 eyes）of the proportion of men and women,ages,testing data and statistical analysis of TCM symptoms and signs scores（P>0.05）.The results indicated that the analyses for the 264 cases are comparative.（3）According to the evaluation of TCM symptoms and signs scores for treatment group,it was found that 38 cases were excellence and 85 cases were utility,while 9 cases were nullity.The show the efficiency of 28.8%,effective rate was 64.4%,total effective rate was 93.2%;in the control group,24 cases were excellence,69 cases were utility and 39 cases were nullity.The show the efficiency of 18.2%,effective rate was 52.3%,total effective rate was 70.5%.After statistics analysis,two groups on the effective,efficient,total effective rate were statistically significant（P<0.05）,the treatment group curative effect is better than the control group;（4）R-scan,conjunctival papilla treatment curative effect comparison of data with median（quartile）on the lower quartile M(P₂₅,P₇₅)Interquartile range said;R-scan:After one course of treatment,the treatment group was 1.0（0.8,1.1）and1.1（0.9,1.2）in the control group.The comparative differences between groups was with statistical significance（P<0.05）.And the curative effect of the treatment group is superior to the control group.Conjunctival papilla:After one course of treatment,the treatment group was 1（1,1）and1（1,2）in the control group.The comparative differences between groups was with statistical significance（P<0.05）.And the curative effect of the treatment group is superior to the control group.（5）During the treatment,two groups had no significant adverse drug reactions.Conclusion（1）It’s effective of modifided Qingzhong Decoction uniting Olopatadine eye drops for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis of dampness-heat with wind.（2）It’s effective of modifided Qingzhong Decoction uniting Olopatadine eye drops for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis of dampness-heat with wind is superior to the use of Olopatadine eye drops alone.
