The emotion of worry is an unhealthy emotion frequently existing in gravidas.Excessive worry will lead to emotion disorder,such as anxiety and depression.Present literature research shows that,most psychologists focus more on anxiety and depression,while the gravidas' previous-stage emotion,worry,was ignored in both of early-days prevention and the therapeutic actions in later stage.On the other hand,in many experimental studies about Yoga intervention for emotion-disordered people,Yoga Asana is widely applied.Currently,Yoga Pranayama,being as an intervention method to ease gravidas' worry emotion,is an innovative combined methodology changing negative emotion by Yoga,and by non-drug preventive and adjunctive therapy.This new movement has no limitation on time and place,and it is self aided.Purpose of the study: To find an ideal method to prevent in early stage,and to aid the therapy of the postpartum depression,so as to ease the worry emotion occurred during the perinatal stage and the puerperal stage.The five dimensions of worry emotion are analyzed one by one,which are,worry about safe pregnancy / or about maintenance,worry about relationship,future blindness worry,worry of lacking confidence,and worry about health condition.The purpose is to demonstrate the correlation between Yoga Pranayama and the worry emotions.Significance of the study: Establish a theoretical basis and practical guidance for the occurrence and prevention of the negative emotion of gravidas.Methodology of the study: It is a case study research.Single blind parallel study of 13 times of Yoga Pranayama intervention was carried on parturient S,and puerpera R,whom both have negative emotion.Study results: Experiment data shows that before and after the intervention,the parturient worry emotion present significant difference,which P<0.01,and the puerpera present notable difference,which P<0.05.The five dimensions variation partly supports the research hypothesis.Four weeks after the experiment,a follow-up test was carried out.The result shows that Yoga Pranayama has legacy effect for most of the worry dimensions except of the dimension of “worry of lacking confidence”.Study conclusion: Yoga Pranayama has a relief effect for the worry emotion of gravidas.Yoga Pranayama has legacy effect when ease the worry emotion of gravidas.
