Study On The Syndrome Distribution Of Functional Constipation Treated By Traditional Chinese Medicine

Purpose:Through the observation of the clinical signs and symptoms of functional constipation patients,we have summarized the case data by using the theory of TCM syndrome differentiation,use the statistical software for comparative analysis,sum up the distribution law of TCM Syndromes of functional constipation and then provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Method:All the cases were from the patients who has seek medical advice in the anorectal clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the time is September 2014 to December 2015,We collect the cases by asking patients to fill out clinical questionnaires.A total of 98 cases of patients with functional constipation are in accordance with the standard.Result:(1)In the 98 cases of functional constipation patients,Syndrome distribution of the patients with intestinal real heat syndrome is the most,accounted for 36.73% of the total cases,the second is intestinal qi stagnation syndrome,accounted for23.70%,again is the yin deficiency and intestinal dryness syndrome,accounted for 15.31%,yang deficition of spleen and kidney's proportion is the smallest,is8.16%.(2)The syndrome and age distribution of functional constipation are statistically significant(p<0.05).Therefore,in different age groups,the distribution of different syndromes are different.(3)In 98 patients with functional constipation,the occupations have statistical significance(p<0.05)in the distribution of the various syndromes of the functional constipation(4)In the 98 cases of patients with functional constipation,the course of disease has no significant difference in the distribution of different syndromes(p>0.05).(5)The pathogeny of the disease is statistically significant in the distribution of the different syndromes.(6)The distribution of diet in the syndrome of functional constipation are statistical differences.Conclusion:(1)Distribution of TCM syndromes of function constipation can be summarized as:intestinal real heat syndrome,intestinal qi stagnation syndrome,spleen qi deficiency syndrome,syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney,syndrome of intestine dryness due to yin deficiency.(2)Comparison of clinical frequencies among different syndromes: intestinal real heat syndrome > intestinal qi stagnation syndrome > spleen qi deficiency syndrome>syndrome of intestine dryness due to yin deficiency>syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney.(3)The incidence rate of female is obviously higher than that of male,the young and the middle-aged incidence rate is higher than the elderly.
