Clinical Research Of Meridian Plucked Method In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Purpose: This thesis aims at using a comparison between the treatment of the two methods-plucking meridians manipulation and orally-taken western medicine of glucosamine hydrochloride capsules,to analyses the effects of treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee.Furthermore,followed by flicking for treating osteoarthritis of the knee joint clinical efficacy and action mechanism,and provided a scientific basis for clinical treatment.Method:In this study,72 cases of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee were provided,and they were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group and the control group.In the treatment process,there are 7 cases of knee joints of patients have fallen off due to different reasons,therefore,totally32 cases of patients were operated in the treatment group with “plucking meridians manipulation”therapy and 33 cases were treated in the control group with taking western medicine of glucosamine hydrochloride capsules.During the treatment process,the treatment group was treated once a day,each for15min/time,six days for a course of treatment,then took a one day break during the treatment,totally four courses of treatment have been operated.While for the control group,2 glucosamine hydrochloride capsules were taken for each time,three times a day,seven days for a course of treatment,totally there were four courses of treatment.Knee joint angle measurement and Lysholm knee functional score determination were taken for each patient before the treatment,the 14 th day and the 28 th days during the treatment respectively,and made a record before and after each treatment with the content of local IL-1 and TNF-?of the knee joint,then took the physical and chemical examination results.With the comparison of the statistical analysis of the data,this experiment tried to find out the functional improvement of two groups of patients with the symptoms of knee joint and their prognosis conditions.Result: The two groups of patients can be compared because of the stati stical test showed that there was no significant difference between the twogroup patients' gender,age,staging and syndrome distribution before the treatment.As a result,according to the standard of curative effect,the t otal effective rate of treatment group was 87.5% with the control rate of 71.9%;while for the control group,the total effectiveness was 72.7% with t he control rate of 48.5%.Statistically speaking,there was a significant d ifference between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: Compared with taken western medicine of glucosamine hydrochloride capsules,the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with plucking meridians manipulation has more advantages with its safe,effective and curative effectiveness.With its convenient to operate,easy to learn and accept,the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with plucking meridians manipulation is worth for making a further clinical research and a clinical application.
