The Summarization Of Professor Libin Zhan's Academic Thoughts And Clinical Experience In Cancer-related Fatigue

Objective: In the study,through systematically collecting and arranging the clinical cases of patients with Cancer-related Fatigue(CRF)treated by Professor Libin Zhan from 2014 to 2015,and analyzing typical clinical cases,I summarized her academic thoughts,clinical experience,drug law and characteristics,to inherit and promote academic thoughts of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),and also provide reference and guidance for clinical treatment of CRF.Methods:The study was composed of two parts.In the first part,through studying the classic literature of TCM and modern academic papers,and learning the knowledge and method of clinical treatment taught by tutor,I summarized her academic thoughts in treating CRF.In the second part,I systematically collected the clinical cases of patients with CRF treated by Professor Libin Zhan from 2014 to 2015,classified the cases and calculated the incidence of CRF.Moreover,I studied all the cases and every prescription.Most importantly,I carefully analyzed three typical cases of CRF in thyroid cancer,lung cancer,and cervical cancer,respectively.Finally,I summarized the drug law and characteristics,tutor's dialectical thinking and clinical experience on treating CRF.Results: In the first part,I summarized tutor's five academic thoughts in the treatment of CRF,“attaching importance to classics studying and clinical practicing”,“supplying the deficiency and strengthening the weakness”,“either attacking,either supplying,maintaining balance”,“attaching great importance to Spleen Yin,curing disease from point of spleen”,“emphasis on regulating emotions and improving the sleep”.In the second part,I calculated the incidence of CRF(66%).Through analyzing clinical casesof CRF,I found that the tutor focus on the use of Chinese medicine Sheng Huangqi,Dangshen,Baizhu,Fuling,Zhigancao,which is based on the famous SIJUNZI formulation.Sheng Huangqi,Dangshen,and Baizhu,Fuling are two core drug suits that tutor commonly used.She is skilled in adding and subtracting drugs according to the symptoms and degree of fatigue.Tutor is also good at applying Baihuashshecao,Banzhilian,Banbianlian,Shancigu,four anti-cancer drug suits.Additionally,she considers it has important significance of emotion and sleep.She commonly used Chenpi with Qing Banxia to regulate the emotion,Sheng Longgu with Sheng Muli to improve the sleep.The tutor was good at strengthening Spleen Qi to supply the deficiency and strengthen the weakness,using anti-cancer qingrejiedu Chinese medicine,attaching importance to qiji in TCM,regulating emotions and improving the sleep.Conclusion: My Tutor pay attention to classics of TCM and her clinical diagnosis and treatment level is excellent.She has profound and unique insights into classical theory of TCM xulao.Besides,she has a wealth of clinical experience and extraordinary style on the treatment of CRF.Tutor is good at combining diseases differentiation with syndromes differentiation,meanwhile,combining Chinese medicine property with modern pharmacological research,combining the strengths and expertise of TCM and Western medicine,to obtain good effect in clinical treatment.
