A Study On The Construction Of Chinese Flight Nurses' Training Curriculum System

Objectives This research attempts to build Chinese flight nurse training curriculum system and provide mature theoretical basis to the selection,training and assessment our flight nurses by analyzing relatively perfect and being started earlier flight nurse training courses in Europe and America. The research is established in the indicator system,demand investigation of training knowledge and core knowledge system of Chinese flight nurses. The research discusses and ascertains flight nurse trainees,training objectives,course modules,course contents,hours of setting and assessment points with considering the situation of China.Methods On the basis of preliminary studies on the application of research literature,comparative study, we investigated the Construction of flight nurse training systems theory,basic principles,and the beginning of the proposed index;Application of expert interviews,group discussion method,according to the research purpose,self-designed questionnaire;Application of Delphi method and modify screening indicators;Used Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weights of the index system;Application of Epidata 3.1?Excel 2007 and SPSS16.0 statistical software for data processing.ResultsFirst,We chose the right expert and the results are of high reliability(1)Through qualitative analysis of expert(professional relevance,work experience,job title and qualifications,etc) and quantitative analysis of the basic situation of the extent of the authority of the expert group(experts on the overall training objectives authority coefficient is 0.911,the authority of the curriculum modules coefficient is 0.845,the assessment authority coefficient is 0.878 points) indicating:expert group has good representation,hierarchy and authority.(2)Two consultation questionnaire effective rate was 100%,there were 10(66.7%) and 5(33.3%) of experts for their valuable suggestions,indicating a high degree of enthusiasm experts.(3)The expert coordination coefficient of two rounds of consultation training objectives are respectively 0.196, 0.325(P < 0.01), the coefficient of experts coordinated curriculum modules were 0.370,0.452(P <0.01),the coefficient of experts to coordinate the assessment points were 0.242,0.362(P <0.01).Second,The establishment of our flight nurses training curriculum system:(1) Target audience:14 experts(93.3%) agree with the requirements of the flight nurse trainees,Set:college degree or above,meet the physical and mental qualities, "China's civil aviation aircrew flight attendant medical standards",with a registered nurse for more than 2 years ICU or emergency department nursing work experience.(2) Training objectives:into the overall training objectives and specific training objectives,after two rounds of consultation have 10(67%) is consistent with the overall objective of the experts believe that the development needs of our flight nurses,there were 10(67%), 11(73%) that "targeting the right", "content more comprehensive",show that experts to the overall goals of recognition is higher,Set:to train first aid or medical evacuation by air service development needs,with good physical and mental qualities and humanities,solid aviation nursing knowledge and professional skills,with sense of teamwork and good quality air care expertise. Specific objectives include the three-level indicators and 22 secondary indicators,three-level indicators are the quality aspects of the target,the target's knowledge,capacity targets.(3) Course modules and hours: establish a total of 300 hours total hours of nine course modules,introduction to 8 hours of nursing aviation,aviation basics 12 hours,50 hours expertise in aviation medicine,aviation and nursing core knowledge 86 hours,89 hours of core skills nursing aviation,flight nursing management 6 hours, 2 hours developing flight nurse,aviation English 12 hours,35 hours of flying practice,Specific course content were part of the adjustment included in each course module,so that the entry reduce duplication,more clear and reasonable,as the explanatory notes attached thereto.(4) Assessment points: after two rounds of consultation have 12(80%) of the experts believe that proper assessment points. Including the six-level indicators,namely the basic professional qualities and ability to work the flight nurse,patient transport medical preparation before the flight nurse,a common transit within and outside,maternity,children,emergency and intensive care,surgical techniques and nursing care of patients skills,wounded psychological care and communication skills,knowledge of infection control in transit,the ability to fly practice.(5) Establish the weights of indicators at all levels. Draw level target weights were:0.312,0.198,0.490,weights of course modules are:0.084,0.084,0.164,0.215,0.215,0.056,0.029,0.029,0.124,weights of assessment points were:0.196,0.272,0.272,0.052,0.067,0.141. And using the multiplication principle to calculate the probability of a combination of target weights.Conclusions Cultivating professional flight nurses of high quality is critical to the development of airline nursing. We should build the curriculum system of flight nurse training by drawing lessons from foreign mature flight nurse training courses,combining with China's national conditions,in order to make our flight nurse training programs conforming to the international trends,and provide further theoretical basis for the selection,training and assessment of flight nurse.
