A Study On The Medicine Using Regularity Of Professor Li Ping's Curing Malignant Tumor Based On Data Mining

ObjectivesThe research aims to study the medicine using regularity of Professor Li Ping's curing malignant tumor by using data mining.MethodologyBy retrospective study method collecting the prescription Professor Li Ping from Anhui Provincial Hospital for malignant tumor cases in clinic diagnosis from January 1,2014 to December 31, 2015; establishing the electronic information database of clinical diagnosis and treatment and analyzing by the statistical software, IBM SPSS statistics17.0, and data mining software, IBM SPSSModeler14.1, and other methods, such as frequency, clustering and association rules so as to explore Professor Li Ping's medicine using regularity of Malignant Tumor.ResultsThe author analyzes 1169 complete clinical prescriptions from the perspective of frequency, tropism of taste, cluster and association. And the results are as follows.Firstly, statistical prescription medication involves 197 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine. Every prescription medication includes 14 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine on average. Thus, the prescription medication is simple but useful. Secondly,through the frequency analysis of the medicine in the prescription, the author finds that the traditional Chinese medicine for treating malignant tumor from top to bottom, in order, is astragalus membranaceus, white atractylodes rhizome, poria cocos, scutellaria baicalensis, endothelium corneum gigeriae galli,thunberg fritillary, pinellia ternata,liquorice, pulp of dogwood fruit, radix curcumae, fructus aurantii, Tianlong, turtle shell,edible tulip, centipede, ternate buttercup root, mangnolia officinalis, the fruit of Chinese wolfberry, and pericarpium citri reticulatae. Thirdly, analyzing the analytical frequency(>20%) of medicine classification, the author finds that the prescription medication is mainly restoring vital energy medicine, dredging collaterals medicine, qi-regulating medicine, warming cold phlegm medicine and secondly is clearing away heat and toxic materials medicine, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis medicine,resolving dampness medicine, clearing damp and promoting diuresis medicine,eliminating phlegm by cooling medicine, digestant medicine, inducing astringency medicine, and clearing away heat and drying dampness medicine. According to the efficacy of high frequency medicines, it has been found that "strengthening healthy atmosphere, activating collaterals and removing toxin" is the main principle in clinics,in which strengthening healthy atmosphere emphasizes supplementing qi and nourishing yin, reinforcing and protecting spleen and stomach along with regulating qi-flowing for eliminating phlegm, removing stasis and carbuncle, resolving dampness,promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis etc. Fourthly, through the analysis of tropism of taste in high frequency, the author finds that Professor Li Ling prefers sweet and mild restoratives, supporting the healthy energy, eliminating evil and tonification and purgation in combination. In five flavours the sweet is the first one, the acid opens and the bitter falls, and qi can be adjusted. Intrasplenic is paid the most attention,spleengastric is also important and stomach qi is protected. Fifthly, by clustering and association analysis the author finds that in clinical prescriptions there are usually medicines that are related with removing toxin, activating collaterals and reinforcing and protecting spleen and stomach, which agrees with the above research result.ConclusionsAfter the analysis and data mining of 1169 complete clinical prescriptions, it has been found medicines related with "strengthening healthy atmosphere, activating collaterals and removing toxin" are usually used in clinical prescriptions. In addition,spleen and stomach have also been attached great importance.
