Because the implementation and implementation from the highway construction project,it has the risk of failing to achieve the desired design goals for the cost, time limit, function and operation benefit.M highway project has a great significance to the economic development of Ningxia Autonomous Region.Analysis of M highway project risk management and design project risk management program are the necessary work for the project successfully completed.Because highway engineering construction project has its own characteristics, research on the risk factors that affect the smooth progress of highway projects, and puts forward the risk response strategy has certain theoretical values.Based on the theory and method of project risk management, this paper studies the risk management of M highway project on the basis of the analysis and investigation. The aim of this study is to analyze the risk factors that the project, identify the project risk, and propose the project risk response strategy. The main contents of this paper include: the qualitative analysis of factors affect the Expressway M project risk and how to evaluate the risk factors;quantitative method is used to evaluate the risk of M highway project;design the risk response strategy for M expressway project combining project plan and project implementation environment design. In order to deal with the risk, some basic methods such as risk avoidance, risk transfer, risk mitigation, risk diversification and risk retention were used and analyzed in the project risk analysis. The method of risk response for M expressway project is put forward and the application of concrete method is designed. The basic purpose of this paper is to reduce the risk loss of the project and ensure the completion of the M Expressway Project on time.
