The large scales covered by the surface of the bony fish,such as squid,are protected against water pressure by the internal organs and are also resistant to attack by other fish.The mechanical properties and microstructure of scales and fish skin materials have important applications in bionics.Vertical electronic tensile testing machine is a commonly used equipment for measuring the mechanical properties of materials,and can measure the tensile strength,elastic modulus and other indicators of the material.With the advancement of science and technology,tensile testing machines have greatly improved in test sample diversity,control automation and high-precision,human-machine interface interaction friendly,etc.,and can meet the mechanical properties of conventional materials,but on fish skin Tests for material properties such as scales and scales no longer apply.On the one hand,because of the small size of the sample,the deformation is also small;on the other hand,these materials are biological living materials,and their mechanical properties are much different in the state of hydrophilicity and dehydration.Therefore,it is necessary to design a new type of horizontal micro-tension testing machine,which not only can realize the measurement of small displacement and deformation,but also can install the water storage tank to achieve the performance test of biological materials,which has important application value.The paper first introduces the overall structural design of the horizontal precision tensile testing machine;then the hardware part of the tensile testing machine is designed to complete the hardware selection;then the control software of the testing machine is introduced to complete the design of some software.Finally,the accuracy of the tensile tester was analyzed and applied to the tensile test of the squid skin.The results show that compared with the traditional vertical tensile testing machine,the designed testing machine has the following advantages:1.The AC servo control system controls the rotation of the motor of the tensioning machine and moves the clamping head through the precision screw to move the speed of the tensioning machine accurately under the control of the microcomputer,and the moving speed of the clamping head and the The corresponding speed control adjustment range,the degree of automation of the precision tensile testing machine,and the accuracy of the displacement measurement of materials have been improved.2.After the completion of the experiment,the experimental data record,analysis and processing are all completed by the matching software on the computer linked by the tensile testing machine,and the testing efficiency of the tensile testing machine is improved.3.This tester is a horizontal small-sized puller equipped with a water storage tank and is suitable for tests that need to be performed in a liquid.
