The Research Of Temple’s Visual Field Of Architectural Space

From ancient times,Chinese and foreign researchers have continued to study the effect of building,and therefore created and developed many theories to explain their research direction and content.Such as the Chinese Feng Shui theory which coming from a number of architectural practice experience,and the D/H theory which was mentioned by western architects about the principle of the city street square space design,they all described the building field in their point quantitatively or qualitatively.But however,since the contents of the building contains a very wide filed,such as physiology,psychology,architecture and other subjects,research on quantitative direction of the building field has been slow so far,and building types and forms gradually varied with the development of science and technology,the influence of building cannot be generalized,previous studies on the building field are limited by historical reasons and not objective and comprehensive.Therefore,the research on it has been possible to continue in depth.Through the research to the physiology of the human eye and human psychology,this article proposed a set of quantitative research method basing on the previous studies: By quantifying a part of building field which means the influence of the building volume to the people to provide new ideas and possibilities for the quantification of the building field.In this paper,a parametric software is used to carry out statistics and processing of a large number of data in complex space,and calculate the three typical temple: Puren Temple,Puning Temple and Putuozongcheng Temple.By calculating the size and variation of the building visual field of the external space of each building,the characteristic model of each building is obtained,and the results can be a quantitative validation of Chinese traditional Feng Shui theory.By the quantitative research method mentioned in this paper,we can get more prototype of the building visual field of the exterior space of many kinds of building,and can provide the data support of the control principle for transformation of the old neighborhood,and can also provide the foundation and direction for the research of building filed afterwards.
