Research On Key Influencing Factors Of Highway Maintenance Decision

With the rapid economic growth,the highway developed rapidly in China,at the same time,highway maintenance requirements are also increasing.In China,the development of highway has transferred from construction period to maintenance and management period.With the increase of service life of highway,the highway traffic volume and traffic load increases,the pavement performance showed a trend of attenuation.To ensure the safety of road traffic,it is required to take scientific and reasonable maintenance measures in a certain period.In addition,highway maintenance in our country is becoming more and more onerous because of the highway pavement damage by extreme weather and seriously overloading and transfinite transportation.Highway maintenance shows a huge demand for funds,involves different aspects and a wide range of workload.However,due to the imperfect state system,the lack of maintenance management experience,the limited funding and other reasons,led to the current management department has not yet formed a perfect decision system of pavement maintenance.It is exposed that the problems about highway maintenance such as the backward idea and the lagging decision research by the lack of pavement condition,choice of road maintenance projects,implementation of the detection and analysis of highway maintenance technology,and scientific evaluation to the effect of curing.At present,the highway maintenance problems have been widespread concern and attention.Under the condition of limited resources and maintenance funds,to achieve the best effect of maintenance,how to establish scientific maintenance decision and choose the highway maintenance project is an important problem they are facing.Therefore,this thesis mainly discusses the selective maintenance of highway,investigates and explores its key influencing factors.Both domestic and aboard research of the situation of highway maintenance are introduced in this thesis,which points out the necessity and feasibility of the selective highway maintenance,according to the existing problems of road maintenance.Then,the research objectives and technical route are determined,which builds up the primary foundation of this thesis.Meanwhile,this thesis adopts questionnaire method to evaluate the management and implementation of relevant maintenance work units,based on extensive investigation and empirical research.Moreover,this thesis uses both descriptive statistical analysis and exploratory factor analysis to process the survey results,and summarizes the influencing factors of selective highway maintenance,which leads to the establishment of comprehensive architecture of evaluation indices of influencing factors.In conclusion,this thesis analyzes and discusses the priority and importance of influencing factors of selective highway maintenance,which provides a convenient method of the factor selecting and ranking for highway maintenance management,and puts forward the suggestion for the future research.
