Xuzhou mining residential areas were mostly built in 60 s and 70 s of last century.The old residential areas were mostly located in the suburbs,and suffered from frequent flying dust in spring and winter caused by long-term coal mining,which bring adverse effects on the residents when they went outside.Based on the investigation and analysis of Xuzhou mining area,the existing situation of residential area and the problems of outdoor space in residential area were studied,the method of CFD was used to explore the optimal design strategy of outdoor wind environment in mining residential area.First of all,the architectural features,layout characteristics and surrounding environment of the residential area in Xuzhou were studied,and the age structure and daily living habits of the residents were summarized,by this way,this paper summed up the present situation and existing problems of the residential area.Meanwhile,according to the meteorological data of Xuzhou City,this paper summarized the characteristics of the climate and wind environment in Xuzhou.Finally,based on the domestic and international evaluation methods of building wind environment and previous investigation,the evaluation criteria of wind environment in Xuzhou area were determined.Then,the layouts of the existing residential areas in Xuzhou were classified,the existing layouts were simplified into three types: the determinant layout,the staggered layout,the enclosed layout.The varied three-dimensional models were established with different height,distance,angle,layout and form.After that,using the Phoenics to simulate outdoor wind environment,the influence of the planning variables on the outdoor wind environment of the residential area were analyzed.At last,this paper summarized the preliminary optimal design strategy.Finally,choosing a typical case--Woniu residential area,through the virtual renovation,to verify the feasibility of optimization strategies.By setting up three different surrounding environment,to test applicable conditions of strategies.Ultimately,the proposed optimization design strategies were complemented and improved.In this paper,the computer numerical simulation was used to study the outdoor wind environment of residential area in Xuzhou mining area.Based on the simplified calculation model of three typical layouts,this paper studied the influence of the planning and design elements on the outdoor wind environment of residential area,and finally put forward the optimal design strategy.Hope the research results of this paper can provide some theoretical basis for the renovation of residential areas in Xuzhou mining area,to create a comfortable community micro environment.
