The Analysis And Design Strategies Of Outdoor Wind Environment In The Residential Quarter Of Western Sichuan

With the development building technology and humanbeen's needs for quality outdoor environment, the designers are requested to fully designing a safe, healthy and comfortable outdoor environment in the residential quater design. We should considerate the elements of Outdoor micro climate (solar radiation, temperature, humidity, wind and etc)in the outdoor environment. The outdoor environment quality could be measured by the comprehensive influence of all the elements. Based on the engineering practice of post-disaster reconstruction in the Western Sichuan region, the design strategies and evaluation method of the outdoor wind environment were discussed.The outdoor wind environment residential quarter is influenced by the wind, layout, architecture form and landscape design. Case study of Letan homes in Leshan and DongPing village in Pengzhou were conducted. Analysis of the outdoor wind environment of various design strategies, and evaluation of outdoor environment quality were simulated by simulation analysis, Phoenics, a computational fluid dynamics software.
