In the 1980's,China has built a large number of residential areas to solve people's living issues.At that time,the single function and isolated mode did not cause negative impacts.However,with the process of urbanization,the location of the district has changed from non-center city to new city center and also in the radius of core commercial circle.To meet both internal and external needs,these residential areas gradually show the characteristics of urbanism in many ways.One of the most common way is through changing from the residential function to commercial use,to realize the commercialization of residential bottom space.This paper takes the commercial publicity of residential bottom space driven by the urban core business circle,as the research topic.It not only studies the “residential function to commercial use”,but looks back the commercial form in traditional residential district and the commercial plan in future residential area.Through the contrast of the tradition,present and future,to understand the problem more thoroughly and find the fundamental reason of the conflict.During the study of design strategy,we are facing two processes in progressive relation.One is to design the open extent of residential area,the other is the design of commercial publicity on this basis.That is to make the overall control of the reasonable open extent of the residential area at first,and then comes to the specific design of commercial space.The principle of the residential area's open extent is "big opening,small closing"."Big opening" shows the residential publicity on the perspective of city,forming residential space structure connected to urban road network."Small closing" emphasizes the residential privacy guaranteeing the territory feeling,forming the layout of the building with a sense of enclosed space.The commercial takes the leading role of the city public to the semi-public,and it also controls the transformation between the semi-public and the residential area.At last,in this paper,the design strategy is actively used in the optimal transformation of the existing commercial publicity which driven by the urban core business circle.At the same time,prospect is put forward on the commercial design of new residential area which is in radius of potential core commercial circle.This is the significance of this article.
