Design Research On Commercial Buildings In Urban Residential Suburbs

With the rapid development of economic and urbanization processes in our country, there is a shortage of land in urban center. Therefore, the trend of residential suburbanization appears in our country. A large number of urban residential suburbs are built in every city. Due to the causes such as geographical factors etc, the commercial buildings in the residential suburbs have independent business districts and abundant ecological resources, playing multiple roles in meeting household consumption, gathering popularity and stimulating the development of the surrounding areas etc. The design research of commercial buildings in urban residential suburbs is of a certain practical significance on social development, the planning of urban suburbs and the fulfillment of residents’ demands etc.The research backgrounds of the subject are first analyzed in the paper such as our country’s economic development at the present stage, urbanization process, changes of consumption level and demands, and the development mode of residential zones etc to know domestic and international research status and relevant theoretical basis; the basic ideas, methods and frames of the subject research are put forward.The related concepts of the commercial buildings in urban residential suburbs are then defined, and the evolution and development of the commercial buildings in urban residential suburbs in our country is reviewed. Moreover, analysis and use for reference are performed to the development history of residential suburbanization in other developed countries and the commercial building mode of urban residential suburbs. The current characteristics of the commercial buildings in urban residential suburbs, in the way of information query and survey of present state etc, are summarized in the aspects such as geographical environment, business type function, main service object and building type etc, and the problems existent in the commercial building design of urban residential suburbs at the current stage are analyzed such as lagged relevant specification, improper planning layout, irrational business type structure, single building space function, simple architectural appearance image and poor external building environment etc. Finally, the design suggestions on solving corresponding problems such as relevant policy specification of commercial buildings in urban residential suburbs, project planning, architectural design, ecological leisure commercial construction etc are given. Furthermore, the planning and design of the commercial building in the residential zone in Gelinshui Town of Hengshui City is taken an example to discuss the application of the design suggestions in practices.
