Nursing Home Public Space Environment Design Research

The current grim situation of aging population in our country,brings great pressure to the society.China's traditional way of home endowment increasingly exposed its limitations,represented by the nursing home endowment patterns begin to play an increasingly important role.The nursing home design research is still in its infancy in our country,development is relatively lagging.Based on this background,this paper makes a deep study of the nursing home public space,trying to summarize out the design of specific strategies,to provide a reference for future design.This paper first analyzes the present situation of the design of nursing home in developed countries such as American and Japan,and lists their nursing home design cases.It is found that almost all the nursing homes in developed countries have the development process of simple to extensive design.And the process for the development of nursing homes in China also has a lot of inspiration.The concept of the content of this study is defined in detail,and the content of this paper is limited.According to the existing research results of the physiology of the elderly,the psychology of the elderly,ergonomics,environmental psychology and other disciplines,the paper summarizes the factors that have been taken into account in the design of public space such as the physiological,psychological and behavioral habits of the elderly.Summed up the special needs for the elderly and the design of the spatial elements.And as a research basis,I research the representative of the nursing home in Zhengzhou field.I issue questionnaires,through the specific questionnaire results of the data analysis,summed up the elderly for the public space demand and the satisfaction of the nursing home.Combined the questionnaire survey and the research of nursing home,system analysis the deficiencies of public space.At the same time,horizontal comparison several nursing homes which I have researched.Try to sum up the general rules of use in line with the elderly,and design points for the elderly to use the public space.In the future design should pay attention to the design points.Finally,on the basis of theoretical research and real investigation,according to the practical needs and living habits of the elderly,the paper summarizes the points of the outdoor public space of the nursing home from different aspects.The precautions of the design of the important nodes,and the setting of the supporting facilities The The indoor public space focuses on the construction of the barrier-free space,and on the basis of the preliminary research results,the paper discusses the indoor public space needed by the elderly and the popular public space decoration style of the elderly.Through a series of research,I tried to sum up and put forward a series of strategies and suggestions for the design of public space environment in nursing homes.Hope to contribute to the elderly who lived in nursing homes and to improve the quality of life.
