The Humanization Design Of Interior Space In Nursing Home

The process of aging accelerates since2000.It is rising that old people choose to spend their days in nursing home,and they demand a high quality to the indoor environment of nursing homes.At present,there are many problems in nursing homes,such as irrational indoor design style,the lack of diversified bedrooms,of public spaces for communication,of creating a warm atmosphere.Under this background,this paper analyses the features and demands of the design of nursing home and old people carefully,also raised the points of humanized design and the methods to reach the points in practice.Firstly,this paper analyses the characteristics in physiology,psychology,and actions and their demands in the aspects of ergonomics,environmental psychology and ecology,and then the direction and basic demands of nursing home’ humanized design is clear through these.Secondly,the excellent space designs of nursing homes at home and abroad are analyzed and the fine design ideas are extracted.Thirdly,from the view of humanized design,the expand thinking about public space,private space,and indoor environment which influences people’s feelings and design principles are raised and the methods to achieve these are also presented.These methods are about the safety of people in spaces,the multipurpose of space,the flexibility and comfortableness of indoor design.Lastly,the writer makes a research about the environment and the old people in jinhua nursing home,summarizes the old people’s demands and the shortcomings of the present situation.This writer puts the design points in practices and adjusts the indoor spaces functionlly and aesthetically from the whole design,and make the humanized design through showing regional features so that the physical and psychological demands of old people could be met and a safe,comfortable and convenient environment can be created.
