The Application Of Shipping Container Building In Ecological Farms

On a global scale,upholding the development concept "green,environmental friendly and sustainable",people pay more and more attention to shipping container buildings.On one hand,constructions modified from container fully embodies the feature of it's green,environmental protection and sustainable;on the other hand,that period of time is also when the agricultural development reform starts,the development and construction of ecological farms were put on the agenda.The development and construction requirements of ecological farms and the unique advantages of shipping container building are important factors for the two to fusion with each other.This dissertation is take the ecological farm construction as a platform,put forward the strategies for the introduction of container building.Employee appropriate technologies into design based on the premise of secure practical,and beautiful,in order to create container architecture featuring low cost,meet with the demond of our times,comfortable and ecological.Firstly,this dissertation explained the opportunity to introduce container architecture into ecological farm with three points:regional transportation accessibility,economical efficiency of scrapped container,and spring up of container building;explained the relationship between container architecture and policy;and discussed the feasibility of introducing container building into ecological farms through carbon emissions analysis,economic cost analysis and construction efficiency.Analysis.Ecological farms are long-term investment projects.Compare to build permanent buildings,the flexible architectural form of ecological farms can effectively reduce the operational risk.Thus,container building is the smart choice.Secondly,this paper discussed the strategies to introduce container building into ecological farms,in order to ensure seamless joint from design to construction and improve efficiency.The strategies are how to choose and buy scrapped container,damage judgment of container;transformation methods like open holes on wall,casing corrosion,heat preservation and insulation;module design and link mode for containers with different function;as well as combined use of container with the scaffold and canvas.Finally,this dissertation tested the practical usage of the strategies suggested in this dissertation through the Dahaiba ecological farm design practice in Huize District,Qujing City,and provides some references for similar projects.
