Calibration And Matching Of Vehicle Internal Combustion Engine Electronic Fan

Electronic fan is the important part of the cooling system.Its role is to ensure that the engine stable operation under appropriate temperature.Compared with traditional mechanical cooling fan,electronic fan has significant advantages in terms of energy saving,and is also one of the important felid in vehicle engine cooling system research.The study carried out by targeting at the calibration of electronic fan matching problem,and mainly works had done as follows.1)Summarized the structure and principles of electronic fan.Detailing explained the matching of the electric fan,the calculation of its main structural parameters and the related parameters,and the evaluation of its performance.Based on all these work,this paper proposes a calculation method according to the structural parameters of fan cooling performance.2)According to the matching design method of electronic fan,matching design in a gasoline engine was carried out.Through the fan's selection and structure parameter calculation,by using CATIA to establish a three-dimensional structure model,then import the ANSA completed meshing,finally in the STAR-CCM + airfoil flow field analysis and optimization.3)Establishing a one-dimensional model in the GT-SUITE cooling system.Verifying the model by simulation of the electronic fan before and after the optimization,and simulation to calibrate the electronic fan by studying the relationship between the internal combustion engine operating temperature and the electronic fan speed,Electronic fan plays an important part in improving the internal combustion engine running reliability.In this paper,the design process of matching electronic fan and the detailed designing method can provide reference for enterprises to research and develop the electronic fan.The calibration method,adopted by the simulation,can provide a method for the temperature control of the internal combustion engine.
