The study on the electronic transformer has become more and more practical and much attention has been paid to the verification and the test work. Based on the study of the variety output forms of the electronic transformer, this thesis developed a virtual calibration system with LabVIEW7.1, which can calibrate the analog output or merging unit digital output electronic transformer. This paper proposed a method to establish the reliable standard channel for the calibration system and used the uncertainty theory to evaluate the uncertainty of the measurement results. In the course of calibration to a transformer, it is necessary to set up the reasonable parameters, such as the input signal's scope being closer as possible to the A/D conversion range, setting a higher sampling frequency, choosing the suitable algorithm etc, all of above can reduce the error of the standard channel and improve the accuracy of measurement. The measurement results of calibration to an analog output transformer and simulation experiment to the merging unit digital output through the network transformation indicated that the calibration system met the design requirement of the subject.
