Port and city are closely related and they are in a complex system. With China's economy entering the new normal and the in-depth implementation of "One Belt And One Road" and other major national strategies,Qingdao has put forward the new urban positioning of international port city and northeast Asia international shipping and logistics center.Qingdao as an important national coastal center city and an international port city, the upgrading of the port itself, the more obvious harbor industry agglomeration effect, and an orderly manner of the regional industrial restructuring and optimization, will certainly cause the important influence to the urban spatial pattern evolution. Therefore, how to integrate port and city in space form gradually, mutually reinforcing in function, and then moves towards integrated and coordinated development,is s a very necessary research question. This paper takes the historical development of Qingdao port, industry and city as the research object, and analyzes its evolution characteristics.First of all, based on the acquired Landsat remote sensing image data of Qingdao in 1990,1995,2000,2005,2010 and 2015,processing data and taking classification of land use types by the ArcGIS technology, the characteristics of land use type change in Qingdao port city over the years are analyzed from the two aspects of land expansion speed and land expansion intensity. The second, exploring the influence of natural conditions and social and economic factors on the evolution of the spatial relationship between the port city,by combining quantitative and qualitative analysis such as Apriori algorithm and Logistics model. The last, analyzing the interaction among port, industry and city from the perspective of spatial gravity shift. As a result,it can reveal the characteristics and rules of the spatial evolution of Qingdao port city in different stages. Thus,it provides the theoretical support of practical significance for the targeted planning and layout of Qingdao. The results show that,Qingdao port produced the shift of port area center of gravity in 2000,and from this, the old port area was transferred to the west coast of jiaozhou bay. With the rapid expansion of the west coast port area of jiaozhou bay and the structural adjustment and functional optimization of the old port area, urban construction land benign to expand. And after 2000,the change of urban land use type in Qingdao is remarkable. At the same time, industrial agglomeration effect in Qingdao becomes more and more obvious, and the output value density of the second industry and the output value density of the third industry have a great influence on the land type conversion in Qingdao. It shows that the spatial layout of Qingdao port city is changing with the development of industry and service industry. In addition, the spatial center of gravity of the secondary industry is moving in the coastal direction, the spatial center of the tertiary industry was gradually transferred to the west coast of jiaozhou bay from the old port area, the urban space and port space gradually expand in the same direction. And what that means is,Qingdao is breaking through dimensional manacle step by step, and there is a positive interaction between the port and the city.
