Urban Square Space Design Research Based On The Perspective Of Urban Design

Urban square has always been an important place for people to have activities,such as contact,viewing,entertainment and rest.It is an important landscape to enhance,adorn and ornament urban public space and environment.The style of the city is largely reflected by the urban square.Urban square also is a stage for showing the urban life pattern and social cultural connotation.In addition,as an important part of urban public space,it affects the city in different levels.As far as China is concerned,its urban square is not only obviously influenced by western city culture,but also influenced by the restriction of Chinese political consciousness.At the founding of the China,many urban squares were built in China.The wind of construction had swept across the country,when the understanding of western square cultural tradition of academic circles was still hazy.Throughout the construction of the urban square in China,the excessive praise to rights in the planning and construction of the square makes people neglect the importance of urban space.Besides,designers pay so much attention to the shape,composition and other design techniques of the square that they neglect the optimization of the space and environment quality of urban square.The space of urban square is not perfect,because of a variety of reasons.There are some deficiencies and insufficiencies in urban square.Therefore,urban square space cannot meet the needs of users,however,it even brings many matters to users.The square construction in China has been attached great importance and it also has some achievements on meeting the needs of urban social activities and improving urban environmental quality in recent years.But the various insufficiencies in management system,the economic base,the planning and design of environment,value orientation and the cognition of urban culture lead to the lag of the construction of the urban square space.A lot of urban public space,especially the urban square space is still in the stage of "inaction".The urban square has not been fully developed,so people are still lack of high quality urban square space and environment.Urban square space is an important public space of the city.This paper takes the Urban square space as the research object.It has analyzed and studied some urban square space at home and abroad.The historical origin,evolution and current situation of urban square space are analyzed.Besides,massive information is also collected and analyzed.Firstly,it points out the necessity and significance to understand the problem from the perspective of urban design through the conceptual analysis of the theory of urban design.Secondly,it extracts the perspective of urban design.Moreover,it makes theoretical analysis and research of urban square space and urban public space by listing a lot of theoretical bases from the perspective of urban morphology,cognition,vision,society.Then it studies the problems of urban square space design guided by relevant literature and theory,combining with some relevant examples at home and abroad.The urban design focuses on environmental quality of urban public space.The urban material space design emphasizes the interaction between people and material factors.The author explores appropriate design principles,goals and strategies from the perspective of urban design,combining with the theoretical research at home and abroad.It has positive guiding significance to the improvement of urban space environment.Then the square space will be more reasonable,rational and efficient.It has great significance to the development of the city.
