Research On The Elderly's Psychological Tendency Of Urban Parks' Sound Landscape Based On Their Characteristics Of Recreational Behavior

With the development of China's economy,the improvment of the level of medical care and living standards,per capita life expectancy is gradually extended,the aging of the population is becoming more and more serious,people pay more and more attention to elderly's life quality.The elderly are the main groups of urban parks,parks are important places where the elderly can get entertainment,rest and exercise their body.Creating a high quality park landscape environment is also an important measure to achieve a positive aging status.The traditional urban park landscape design pays more attention on visual elements and the use of features,while more neglect of other feeling of the landscape of hearing,smelling and other sensation.Based on the recreational characteristics of the elderly,this article is composed from the sound point of view,and make a research on the psychological tendency of the old people to urban park sound landscape :1.Take the 16 observation areas of two typical urban parks in Tai'an as the survey sites,through the field observation method,made a research on the elderly's recreational behavior,and made statistics and analysis on the activities of the elderly to the park,central activity areas and the purpose,through the study of recreational activities to prove that the elderly is indeed the main user of urban parks,their leisure time is large span,group activity accounts for a greater proportion of individual sexual activity;recreational recreation and sports recreation compared to other natural recreation accounted for a greater proportion,this prove that entertainment and physical fitness is the main purpose of the elderly to go to urban park;different activities of the spaces correspond to different atmosphere and characteristics of the environment;2.Through the subjective evaluation of the questionnaire,we made some researches on the degree of attention on the single sound landscape elements for the elderly,favorability,coordination degree,and the influence of individual attributes on evaluation of favorability and the comprehensive feeling of sound landscape.Based function and characteristic to divided the whole sound space on several parts.We got the attitude of elderly to man-made sound landscape elements and natural sound landscape elements.The results found that the elderly favorite sound landscape elements are bird activities and tweet,falling water sound,talking sound,child activity sound and plant sound,and natural sound landscape have higher comprehensive favorability;the favorability of the sound elements is highly correlated with its environmental coordination degree,uncoordinated elements of the environment are mainly humanistic sound;compared with age and gender,the difference of education degree has great influence on the subjective evaluation of the elderly.By semantic differential method to get ten feeling index score of the sixteen observation areas,then make cluster analysis to sound landscape of the urban parks by SPSS 22.0 software and found that the city park sound space which suitable for the elderly to do activities are included entertainment sports sound space,leisure sound space and natural sound space.This paper probes into the design of urban parks from some aspects of steady-state sound landscape,dynamic sound landscape and interactive sound design and so on,in order to provide guidance for the sound landscape design of the urban park elderly activity area.
