The racing car has always been the focus of attention to the thousands of fans,the engineer's wisdom and technology force is contained in each racing car.The aerodynamic characteristics of the car get more and more attention by the world's teams.With good aerodynamic performance of the car in the running speed can produce significant pressure to ensure that the car running at high speed and high speed stability.First of all this paper aims at the development of a FSC(Formula Student of China)car body.The CATIA software is used to establish the model of the calculation domain and the car body,driver,wheel,engine,assembly,transmission assembly at the same time the part is simplified and assembled to form the basic model of wind tunnel analysis.Then the hyper-mesh is used to clean the preliminary geometry and divide the surface mesh.The finished mesh is imported into Star-CCM+,based on the physical model k-w to simulate.The car's aerodynamic characteristic is evaluated through the simulation results of the basic car model.Based on the concept of the aerodynamic design to develop a suite of aerodynamic device,at the same time analyze the influence factors to the suite of aerodynamic performance and the structure parameters of the aerodynamic device is further optimized.The optimized order is the design and optimization of diffuser angle,the design and optimization of the distance from diffuser to ground,the design and optimization of the rear wing angle and the horizontal distance and vertical distance from the rear wing third wing to second wing,the design and optimization of the distance from rear wing to the body surface,the design and optimization of the front wing angel,the CFD technology is applied in each car installation stage to analyze the situation of the streamline distribution around the car,the situation of velocity distribution around the car,the situation of the pressure distribution.The results show that the optimized flow around the car body is good,with pneumatic pressure characteristics,which can avoid the car skidding and rollover in the course of the game,ensure the security in the process of competition and meet the car stability in high speed and cornering.
