"Self-help" Key Technology Guide Rules Research Of Traditional Settlement Protection And Regeneration

With the influences of rapid urbanization,natural and human factors,traditional settlement are perishing rapidly.Most of the inhabitants of traditional settlement adopt methods of "pulling down old houses and building new houses on the original site" to improve their housing conditions,resulting to "constructive destruction" of large amount of traditional residence.Historical features and pattern of traditional settlement are hung by a thread.Currently,domestic conservation and regeneration mode of settlement are mainly government-led "from top to bottom" single decision mode,which has exerted quite good effects aiming at individual exemplary bases.However,it is not universal to traditional settlement with large quantities and wide radiation;the traditional settlement inhabitants "from bottom to top" mode is difficult to be realized because of restriction of social environment and lack of relative operation mechanism.The research group has combined "from top to bottom"with "from bottom to top",thereby forming "up and bottom linkage" mode,i.e.,it takes government "from top to bottom" leading as the center,social public participate together,inhabitants-centered "from bottom to top","self-help"traditional settlement conservation and regeneration social action model,thereby providing a new possibility for the conservation and regeneration of traditional settlement.This paper takes traditional settlement conservation program as general guide rules and adopts typical case analysis,field survey,comparative analysis,map hierarchy superposition,matrix countermeasure analysis and other methods based on survey of traditional settlement and its inhabitants' current status,traditional residence surveying and mapping,residents' appeal for improving living environment and so on,analyzes the development of residents'"self-help" behaviors,combines relative articles and papers at home and abroad and proposes the "base line" control setting principles of residents'"self-help" technology;also,it takes Guifeng Village and Cheng Village as examples and discusses "self-help" key technology guide rules of traditional settlement conservation and regeneration.Firstly,on the basis of domestic and foreign researches,this paper constructs residents'“self-help”traditional settlement conservation and regeneration system,making clear residents' participant principal status and defining participants' behaviors;it analyzes development of residents"self-help" behaviors:residents' "self-help" behaviors were born when traditional settlement was selecting sites and settling down? with advances of the society,"self-help" behaviors begin to mutate? motivation of current traditional settlement residents' "self-help" conservation behaviors and required social environmental conditions.Then,it summarizes five conservation criteria of integrality,authenticity,reversibility,minimum intervention and life continuity as the setting principles of "base line" control of residents' "self-help" technology;historical features and spatial pattern of traditional settlement are important basis for residents'"self-help" technology "base line" control and it analyzes traditional settlement spatial form and pattern from theoretical perspective,the pattern elements of which includes base element(mountain,water,farmland)and constitution elements(dot,line and face).Lastly,the paper formulates "base line" control of residents' "self-help"traditional settlement spatial form conservation and infrastructure renovation;it completes "self-help" key technology guide rules of traditional settlement conservation and regeneration from four spatial form aspects,which are settlement integral conservation,street multi-type renovation,public space interface renovation and new residents' appearance coordination as well as two infrastructure key technologies,which are traditional residence self-drainage,pollution discharge suitability and traditional residence drainage,pollution discharge and settlement pipe network.
