Design And Research Of Public Toilet Under Female Perspective

Gender is the basic characteristic of the human existence intrinsic nature.In the category of human society,women are born physical structure and thus give them maternity nursing duties and shouldering family responsibilities,but this difference is not the division of labor between men and women inevitability.Since ancient times,the "roles","son preference","the strong man with a weak woman" of the traditional thinking has entrenched,women have no social status and independent personality,and is subject to the families of the men’s subordinate status that they still exist as a vulnerable group.The proportion of public resources for urban use differences between men and women has become a social phenomenon,"female toilet difficult","irrational distribution of male and female toilet","no private space","location unreasonable" and so on.The attention of the public toilets in China are far behind other countries,presenting a "dirty,disorderly and smelly" phenomenon.Taking as the research object to public toilet from the female perspective to seek for the female gender in the design space design.As female as the main body of the emerging group,more want to change the present situation of unreasonable gender distribution of urban public resources,call for more people to pay attention to the toilet culture,the change of city life quality problems,to promote the harmonious development of society.
