The Research On Restriction Factors And Countermeasures Of Popularizing Green Building In Chongqing

In recent years, construction industry has developed rapidly along with the high speed development of economy and the accelerated urbanization process in our country. The development pattern of traditional construction industry is “three high one low” which means “high speed, high consumption, high pollution and low efficiency”. This extensive pattern has been a serious threat to the sustainable development of China's energy, resources, ecological environment, economy and society. Green building can save resources, reduce pollution and protect the environment maximally in the whole life cycle of buildings, which can also provide healthy and comfortable space for people, so developing green building is the inevitable trend in the development of China's traditional construction transformation. Although the government has been actively promoting the popularization of green building, the present situation is not very optimistic. At present, the development level of green building in Chongqing is behindhand in the various provinces and cities in our country, which's the lowest in the four municipalities and has very big disparity with Jiangsu?Kwangtung and other provinces. So the current situation needs to be improved badly. The paper has done a research on the restriction factors and countermeasures of popularizing green building in Chongqing, which finally finds out the superficial?the middle and the deep-seated restriction factors of popularizing green building in Chongqing by building a interpretation structure model. Then corresponding measures and suggestions has been put forward. The research not merely can enrich the study of the theory of the green building development, but also is beneficial to the promotion and development of green building in Chongqing. And it's beneficial to promote the construction of the new type urbanization and the sustainable development of economic society and ecological environment in Chongqing, which has very important practical significance.The paper has done a research on the restriction factors and countermeasures of popularizing green building in Chongqing by using many different kinds of methods. First of all, through reading and summarizing the related literature at home and abroad, a clear cognition on the current research status and inadequate aspects has been formed, then an entry point has been found out. After that, the restriction factors of popularizing green building in Chongqing has been extracted and identified from the existing research results basing on the related theory foundation. Afterwards, by analyzing the current situation and existing problems of promotion of green building in Chongqing and the questionnaire survey, the key factors have been found out. Then the expert interviews have been made for the purpose of building ISM model. Based on the analysis result of ISM model, the paper finds out the superficial?the middle-level and the deep-seated restriction factors of popularizing green building in Chongqing. At last, some corresponding measures and suggestions has been put forward.Through building the model and analyzing, the paper finally finds out the different level restriction factors of popularizing green building in Chongqing and formulates the corresponding measures and suggestions. Among them, the lack of motivation to develop green building for construction units and the high incremental cost of green building are parts of the superficial restriction factors; the lack of ability and experience for the employees, the unqualified materials and equipment of green building and the non-standard green building materials market are parts of the middle-level restriction factors; the lack of green consciousness and green concept for the consumers and the inadequate publicity and promotion for green building are parts of the deep-seated restriction factors. The research result of the paper can provide some references for the government when making policies related to green building and some certain help to improve the development of green building in Chongqing.
