It needs to improve through the reconstruction design supports the old structure, optimizing the campus layout, improve the quality of whole space, and combining with the Chongqing area regional features strengthen the advantage of mountain hospital buildings, and make a prospective design to adapt to the campus' s overall development in the future.In this paper, based on the tide of reform of public hospitals in Chongqing as an opportunity to select the district general hospital reconstruction and extension examples, through field investigation and data collection of related cases, combining with the design theory of integration and weaving, study on the overall design strategy in reconstruction and extension of district general mountain hospital from land resources, the overall design, function configuration, traffic streamline, space environment, and the continuation of city texture. Combined with relevant examples of engineering practice, further enrich the mountain environment hospital architectural design theory.
