City shows its spirit by water, and live with water. There are 166 lakes with different sizes in Wuhan, of which 38 are located in downtown area.Therefore, it is known as "the city with hundreds of lakes".Some have large water area,like East lake and Tangxun lake, others have smaller, such as Lingjiao lake and Shai lake etc.The evolution of urban lake landscape is closely related to the planning and construction of Wuhan. Reasonable planning of the lake revetment landscape has become an important driving force for Wuhan to constructe an environment friendly city. Revetment is not only the boundary of water area and land area of the urban lake, but also an important component element to urban lake landscape, what's more,it's an important standard to measure the binhu regional culture and landscape quality.Reasonable planning of the urban lake revetment landscape can make the relationship between man and the lake more harmonious. So as to promote the optimization of the whole city landscape pattern. And bring the opportunity to improve the urban ecological environment. However, in recent years, the development of Wuhan urban lake resources has great blindness and randomness.For example,the real estate businessman wantonly fill lakes to built.Urban lake revetment space is severely compressed and lake ecological environment are deteriorating,which leads to the contradiction between the protection of urban lake revetment resources and urban construction.How to design urban lake revetment scientifically and reasonably has become an important content to the urban lake landscape construction for Wuhan in the new period.The objective and significance of this study lies in strengthening the operability of urban lake revetment design, specificating for urban lake revetment landscape construction management basis.So as to improve the quality of life of urban residents and increase the regional cultural content. According to the current situation of Wuhan's numerous urban lake revetment, focusing on the various problems existing in the construction of urban lake revetment, combined with Wuhan Shai lake revetment landscape design project, Closely arounding urban lake revetment ecological protection?functional properties,and the content?principle and method of revetment design, this paper has carried on comprehensive induction and elaboration in view of the above content.
